Raid morons
All these people demanding that you must know what to do in order to join a raid. How the hell you going to know if you can't get in one? Stop being ignorant and try to bring a noob in once in a while so there's more people out there with experience to open the field for others. I understand that you have to at least have a high light level, but the games only been out for a short time.

YouTube is your best friend in that case. Whenever I raid, I want everyone to at least know the general mechanics of the fight. We can then work on refining out technique

I admit I am very guilty of this but after you have been trying a raid for nearly 5 hours you can't be bothered spending the time teaching new players how to do the raid.

1 RispondiI understand both sides. Sometimes, I don't have 2 hours to teach noobs what to do ESPECIALLY BECAUSE THERE ARE YOUTUBE VIDEOS TO KNOW WHAT TO DO ALL OVER THE PLACE. That being said, if someone has an idea of how it works and can explain the basics, more than willing to help.....to a point. Like yesterday, even if you know what to do, if you jump in the wrong order on your pedestal over and over, eventually, you gotta go, cause you can't cut it.

Oh I've had a few good ones. Like my friend YuhNinja. Got to sisters his first time ever. Instead of running around blindly his first time torn between dimensions, he improvised and got the fastest time next to my time. I was the same. It's the stupid fūcking 12 year olds with shitty Mics and no team chemistry, or the dumb ass stoner who bitches and wants the loot but is to worried about his next bowl, or the ass who "knows" the raid but is constantly dying and bitching out your friends, or that annoying "we can't do this" guy who AFK's constantly who makes me not want to help. If you're 290(only because it's recommended and I'm not hella carrying) and are willing to be a team player, you can improvise a situation without having a finger up your ass, and since I articulate well since I speak in public, you should be able to take my advice. I'm always going to be calm. The requirements are there because to many asshats don't take shit seriously. If you can cooperate and listen well and you're on 360 hit me up. WakingDaylight. Instead of bitching about requirements, if you want to play the content in the second or third week it's out, don't bitch about a team not wanting to carry you at 275-289. Instead of complain, grind out the strikes to get to that level 290. IF YOU HAVE A BUSY LIFE, Ask me. I'll fūcking speedrun strikes with you. I'm on xbox. Ima half day, mature senior. It happens. But there are people out there who don't require that. Best solution tho, as someone else noted, put the fireteam together yourself.

Simple solution: make the raid group yourself. That will filter out the try hards

Im gonna not equip the emblem and drop down to like 292 light and try to talk my way into some tryhard group and then make them all feel like shit when i bust out the 301 and kingsbane.

It seems to me like people just wait for others to complete it and then want to get their assses carried through the raid because you struggle with following intructions or actual teamwork. (Or even research) I never went on forums trying to hop on someones fireteam who asks for said requirements. If you know they dont want your ass, why do you bother trying to be in their fireteam? I just made my own, with first timers. And through hard work and common sense we beat it yesterday. Stop trying to get carried and being a burden on people who are just clearly stating that they aint trying to help anyone, yet you probably lie and say you got experience to join their fireteam

1 RispondiYou have to understand that there's a lot of people that have limited time and have tried with a few different teams to beat certain parts. It gets frustrating to the point that you just want to get it done already. Only way to do that is to have a group of people who know what to do. I personally don't care if you never actually did it before but at least read about it and watch videos so people don't have to try to explain it. It's understandably frustrating for both sides though

Video game elitists = not fun to raid with anyways. They deserve each other. I remember back when I was in a position to help people raid, and I did. And when I get back on top I'll still be helping people raid.

I have no problem running with new people. I do have problem running with under leveled/weaponed people. Did gorgogoth last night and two of the guys didn't have a sniper or heavy machine gun. The amount of dps I had to do to cover for them was retarded and took forever. If you are 280 with a 305+ sniper and no experience I would rather take you through then a 295 with no -blam!-ing weapons only an auto rifle...

2 RisposteThere are some jerks out there sure enough, but I've also found out a lot of those posts are also miscommunication. They say "experience" but many of them actually mean they just want you to be familiar with the mechanics by having watched other people do it (YouTube, twitch, etc). I think that's perfectly reasonable, and when I get levelled up enough I'll be watching more videos before I take the plunge.

Well bud, I gotta tell you, the best way to learn how to do it is to do it. I agree completely. Best thing I can suggest is look for a clan or community to join. A good first step would be to state your console. I will warn you though, not only will you look like you're doing it wrong, bur you'll feel like you're screwing up if the ones instructing you are morons. Pick your raid groups carefully.
