All these people demanding that you must know what to do in order to join a raid. How the hell you going to know if you can't get in one? Stop being ignorant and try to bring a noob in once in a while so there's more people out there with experience to open the field for others. I understand that you have to at least have a high light level, but the games only been out for a short time.

It can get tedious. I have seen both extremes. Last night was less fun than I hoped, one of the new to the raid kids was really loud in voicing how scared he was starting the war priest fight. We didn't kill him b/c it's hard for some people to follow directions.
-
Watch a video. Take the initiative. It's really not that complicated.

1 RispondiLast night I joined my friend for a raid and the so called leader kept telling us how to do the raid and what the mechanics are. Problem is he didn't tell us exactly WHAT to do; just what is going to happen. He then screams at us and proceeds to kick every single one of us who he yelled at. Later I looked at his stats and he only has 2 VoG and 3 CE completions. -_-

It's a tough one. I've been with teams who all claim to know what they are doing and 20 attempts at oryx later I'm rage quitting.... But then i did the whole raid with three raid virgins and we wiped only a handful of times before completing it. Some ppl are just better and more competent players. Experience counts for nothing as I've learned the hard way.
-
I take new people in to show them what to do. As long as you have a high impact sniper, can take directions without arguing, and know what counter-clockwise means. We usually won't have a problem. Took three new people in last night, only wiped once on oryx. Other than that and a couple deaths it was pretty flawless.

4 RisposteStart your own raid noob group and figure it out yourself. That's what I'm gonna do this weekend. I wouldn't give too much credit to most of these "experienced" players because the vast majority of them didn't figure anything out themselves. You can tell that by all the "watch the YouTube" comments in this thread Everybody wants content but nobody wants to actually play content, they want to get walked through and just bitch about the lack of content a week later on forums while acting like they accomplished something
-
Just lie and say you have experience, people do it on there resumes so why not in a video game. Then wing it from there or you could watch a guide on youtube to avoid being called a fraud.

13 RisposteModificato da Dismantled: 10/2/2015 10:04:00 PMI absolutely request you need to know it is not my job to teach people how to do things. To answer your question watch a video on youtube there are probably 100s of tutorials by now. Further more if it is someones lobby they can make whatever requirements they would like to if you do not like other peoples requirements make your own lobby it is not hard then maybe you would see why we onky want experienced people. If you have the means to access these forums and complain then you have all of the means to learn the raid there is absolutely no excuse whatsoever not to know how to do the raid. Even if you have no pc or phone to watch videos on you still have a console there is literally no excuse not to know the raid none.

Watch a video. That's how people let me in
-
1 RispondiGet a team of first timers and run it blind that's what me and my team are doing. Takes a lot longer but having a blast.
-
I would love to do that but people don't listen to simple f*cking instructions like go on your plates counter clockwise to the relic, they never listen, plus some people just aren't good and/or are extremely stupid. There was once a guy in my raid team in VoG who didn't understand how icebreaker worked even after using it and having everyone in the fireteam explain it to him, some people are just dumb and they aren't gonna raid with me. You could say that's close-minded but I don't give a damn.
-
Go watch a video. If you don't have time to watch a video on how to do the raid then don't waste other people time.
-
There's nothing wrong with raiding with noobs as long as they listen and know right from left, top from bottom, etc.
-
All these people saying "stop whining like a little bitch"... Are in fact...
whining like little bitches
-
Why can't you watch a youtube video? I don't get it. Does someone has to sit there and explain the fight for 10 minutes? How is that different.
-
2 RisposteI give it another three weeks before people can do normal without talking, it's pretty easy if you know what you're doing.
-
1 RispondiOp is confirmed idiot..... How about you watch a video then join a group and say I know what I'm doing... Or maybe you are just bad and unreliable in raids
-
I'll take noobs once I hit max and have an easier time carrying.
-
I thought you had said Raid Mormons, like those guys who come to the tower door to door trying to get you to join their fireteam.
-
Squad with me once, we have way too much fun and always get fat LOOTS. Just check my warlock
-
3 RisposteDo what I did, watch a few youtube videos and read some walkthroughs so you know what you're doing before you go in. I wouldn't want to go in without knowing what I'm doing.
-
I understand what your saying, I can never get a group
-
It's not hard. Point blank. You can honestly make your own team of people who've never done it, and you could do it easily.
-
Modificato da Din: 10/2/2015 10:20:44 PMStart your own group, make your own rules. Stop complaining about how other people want to play. Instead of whining like a little bitch, do something about it. Don't be a pathetic victim, take charge. This is just like real life friend, you either make your own rules or you STFU and follow someone else's.
-
I bet I could find people only asking for light level, stop crying.
-
It's like trials all over again. "If you want to get flawless you have to have flawless first"
