Is There an "Official" New Favorite Auto Rifle?
Of course you know I never stopped loving them, but I've noticed a lot of people using auto rifles in strikes and patrols. The 2.0 weapon balancing has seemingly made it "cool" to use auto rifles again.
So, is there an emerging favorite yet in the community- a new "Shadow Price", if you will?
I like "An Answering Chord" (the Vanguard rifle), but I haven't yet got one with outstanding perks. Partial Refund is on the one I've upgraded; the rest of the perks make it worthwhile. But I think if I had to choose, I'd take the Deal Breaker with the Hakke thermal sight that I have on my Titan. The sight alone makes it a brilliant rifle, making target acquisition in both PvE and PvP a snap, but it also hits like a hammer and can nail precision shots at a surprising range. I don't have the stock model of either one, they both came as random drops.
And it goes without saying that Suros Regime Mk. 2 is brilliant; the Spinning Up perk is amazing.

Pulse rifles are soo much better

Suros AR5 or whatever its called. Has a slighty above average fire rate, AND HAS [b]MAX STABILTY[/b]

14 RisposteRed spectre is the best auto rifle currently in the game. It has a fire rate like monte carlo, hard light etc. with the impact of a suros/dealbreaker/answering chord. Op AF in crucible. Still grinding for it though. [spoiler]only drops in crucible. [/spoiler]

I have a Dealbreaker with Crowd Control/Focus Fire/hammer forged in the middle. (Or some large range increase perk)

No favorite yet except for year two suros regime for PvP and pve, also supercell was nice but it lacks power

My Does Not Bow on my titan is a favorite with me.

I never liked autos - even in beta, even in Halo for that matter... Recently giving them another honest try - mostly due to the gunsmith weapon testing but it still feels like it takes way too many bullets to kill something compared to scout, hand cannon, or even pulse. I've got a couple new ones from drops I'm going to try out and looking forward to the one my titan should get this week when he hits gunsmith rank 3 I'm glad they at least got buffed back enough to be an option
