Poorest decision your school has made? (The Friday referenced was 9/11)
Mine was on friday at 12:00 pm.
We had a fire drill.

We had to follow dress code at sporting events. Which meant no sleeveless shirts or painting up. We were supposed to act like "young professionals". Yet we watched kids end up at Ivy League schools go full body paint and will mostly likely have a 6 figure salary soon. We also got in trouble for being "too loud" at a basketball game once. Not our fault we had a team competing for the state title 3 years in a row...

When I was in school in a history class which is on the second story of the school so about 20-30 feet off the ground a student held another student out a window by his ankles and the teachers idea of how to stop this was to throw a 10 pound textbook at the student holding the ankles he didn't drop the kid but he almost fell out the window with him

-Following Michelle Obama's Food Bams -Getting rid of Latin so they only offer one -Language that's not online -Having an entire hallway closed permanently because it's filled witj abestous or some shit(and was cheaper to build a new school around it than clean up) -moving 5th graders to middle school -letting an embezzler or some such borrow 2 million...and thus end up borrowing 7 million instead -Giving me ISS for being on the homepage of Internet Explorer(I was in an online class- Goal is 3 tests a week. I took 3 per day, and still had time to read the news. I didn't beg for free answers like other stupids, yet I get ISS for it and EVERYONE you try to talk to it about says "Oh, that's not on me, I cant/wont help you") -Putting up an Emergency box of medicine(I forget the name- an injector used to temporarily delay the onset of anaphalatic shock) and then LOCKING it.. -a Draconian phone policy where upon first notice of it a teacher can give you ISS fpr 2 days(and then 3 days...and then OSS..) -List goes on From an old school: -Fairbanks, Alaska. School still held in Fall/Winter/Spring and such. You're within a mile of the school, and are a high schooler!? Well, congratulations! You get to walk to school and from school everyday, in as cold as -45 degree weather! That not enough? We'll make sure that your neighbor's Elementary/Middle school kids have a bus pull up to them, so you can be reminded THERE'S ABSOLUTELY NO REASON FOR THIS SHIT. -Also! Time for the yearly BOMB DRILL! Alright everyone, please proceed in ONE line over ONE highway bypass and into ONE room in the elementary school! We promise you're completely safe!
