For those you that don't know what means, basically you could have the max light equips, with all the perks and everything, but there would be a secondary slot for other armors that you like the look of. Say for example, in TTK, you get the new raid gear, get it fully upgraded and everything, but you don't like the way it looks and would rather have an old vanguard/Iron Banner/Raid set that you like more. With Vanity slots you could still customize your character. This would also mean that there would be a reason to do Vault of Glass, Prison of Elder, and Crota's end. If a new player liked a particular set then they would have to run VoG, CE, or PoE to get them. Overall this would preserve old armor and activities, but make it so people would have to play end game content as well to get the max gear. It would also make it so people could have their guardian the way they want. Note: I do think that getting new armor and weapons are important, but we should have some level of customization. It's not really fun seeing everyone look the same.
