What's the worst Halo you've ever had the misfortune to play? Why was it so disappointing?
Edit: I'm surprised that Halo Reach isn't as hated as ODST...

1 RispondiEither Halo 3 or Reach. Both had abysmal stories, and both had wonky aiming (Halo 3's bullet spread being too random for my taste). Reach was probably worse for me though because bloom was more offensive and the AA screwed everything up.

What is with people and halo 4? Why cant u just be like me and love every halo game

Halo 4 doesn't even count

2 RisposteFrom best to worst: Halo 3 Halo 2 Halo ODST Halo CE Halo Reach Halo 4 Not saying that the lower ones are horrendous, but each one had its strengths and weaknesses. Here's what I typed from the top of my head.
Halo 3 had decent custom games, PvP, and campaign. Theatre and forge were both introduced which made things even better. Best armor customization too, IMO. Halo 2 was like a smaller Halo 3. Had better Machinimas as well. I liked switching between Arby and the Chief too. ODST had a unique theme and environment of its own to it, along with an interesting story. It also, to me, had Marty's best soundtrack. I loved the ambient pianos and jazz parts, which mixed in great with the dark, lonely atmosphere as the Rookie. Firefight was also a great addition. CE is self explanatory. Outdated now though, but even today still decent. Nice campaign, too. Reach was just ok. Maps were meh, DMRs got boring, PvP was worse than usual, ranking was a grind, campaign didn't draw me in like the previous ones, and having a knife on my spartan's collar at all times was a little annoying. Forge world and custom games were amazing, however, and the armor customization wasn't too bad. Halo 4 just didn't feel like a Halo title. Music was off, armor looked awkward and less human, PvP hadn't improved much from Reach, characters weren't very captivating, and maps were average/below average. Considering it all, however, 343 did better than what most think at the retrieval from Bungie. I think what they did with Cortana within the story was interesting, too.
I didn't like halo wars but that's just me

Too easy

Whoever said halo 3 is clearly going to hell
-
Halo CE even though it's a classic. I mean having to spend literally half an hour for your shield to regen takes the piss
-
I haven't played a bad one;-)
-
14 RisposteI didn't like halo 3
-
Worst to best: Halo Wars Halo 3 Halo CE Halo 2
-
Halo 4. Multiplayer was fragmented.
-
19 RisposteHalo 5 is going to be worse. I just watched a new trailer and it felt SOOOO sickening

1 RispondiModificato da Skeletor: 9/8/2015 9:57:02 PMHalo wars I think that halo 4 had a great story to it and very nicely rounded characters. Good story aspect and rock solid gameplay. Still feel like traditional halo but I liked it.
-
I dislike CE. A lot of the later levels become slogging through enemies, and then there's going through a level backwards but with Flood. It just doesn't hold up well over time.
-
Halo CE Was long boring dull hard and had terrible story telling.
-
3 RisposteQuite frankly I loved them all, even halo 4, but halo 4, despite being good, didn't feel like halo.
-
Halo Reach was by far the worst IMO.
-
3 RisposteHalo wars
-
I hated Halo Wars. Out of those I'd say Halo 4
-
3 RisposteI like them all for the most part. Reach was my favorite multiplayer. 4 was best story. I had to force myself to get through CE though.

Just didn't have a halo feel
-
Halo 4, I actually did love it, it just didn't feel like halo to me.

1 RispondiHalo 4 had the worst ending.
