I was right, Mr. Fruit ruining the stream. Skipping content? Wtf?
Holy shit I'm pissed. This is supposed to be a showcase, and mr fruit is just running past everything like its a strike it's year old content.
Doing it right in front of the designer?
Hope Bungie learned a lesson this guy knew.

3 RisposteI know my opinion won't matter but I'll give it anyway. Mr. Fruit is fun. Claude and Cozmo just sat there, looking bored. That's what I want TTK to be about - having fun. Exploring my new subclasses (which Fruit was the only one to explain in-depth, by the way), enjoying my time with friends, getting new toys to play with, etc. Before you check my stats and call me an "elitist" for having a high grimoire score on PS4, I haven't touched it in a month since I restarted on 360. Why? My main account is my PS4, I try harder there and I got bored with trying hard. (Never beat Skolas, don't plan to because it seems boring and tedious.) So I restarted all over - for fun - on 360. TL;DR: I can't wait for TTK because new toys and new things are fun. (:

If bungie brought in devs, it would've made the content showcase aspect of the stream better, and there's no argument against that However, they bring in the community members (goth, triple, broman, fruit, and next week, Lauren) because those are people who play the game a lot. As in, their streams and videos of the game bring in most of their money. And, the streamers and youtubers are going to be the same ones that a lot of people will watch on the launch day, or watch to see the new raid. Basically, they want the community to figure some of the mechanics and fights out, and they want people who the community will watch in the future

Yes, I'm sure killing 4-5 extra centurions and legionaries would've made the stream that much better.

They weren't there to showcase the lore. Other people also ran the strike to do that, they were there to showcase the "Raid-lite" aspects it featured, which it did.

I was hoping for "This is what I'm going to be doing here, this demonstrates the power of this ability. Now I'll switch to this. See how that changes?" Something to actually discuss and demonstrate. Bungie needs to find people who have an IQ above about 50 who know how to explain mechanics and not act like goofy little boys because GAMES LOL. Broman did it during the HOW reveal, Fruit and Cozmo now during the TTK reveal. They should be embarrassed. This is what 200k people tuned in to watch.

Then after running it 100 times you can complain of a lack of content in the game and say that strikes are boring. Secondly, Mr. Fruit was the one that spent the most time looking through the subclass tree and explaining the different perks as well as actually being more entertaining than a wooden plank like the other 2 on the stream. Not even the Technician who worked on the game went into as much detail when he was explaining his character and, generally, didn't really explain much at all about the strike which you would think he would be doing since, you know, he is the bungie employee who would be in the know about mechanic etc.

Datto, or literally anyone from Planet Destiny would have been a trillion times better in this instance. He even said he was out of his comfort zone playing PvE content. But what can ya do? People love their Fruit.

4 Risposteya know bungie doesnt have to do these things they could just sit in the office and watch ttk drop and give us no info at all instead they pick people who lots and LOTS of people like (i dont watch vids or YTers) to come in and try out this new content to give US the players a look at some of the new stuff and just because YOU dont like the guy doesnt mean there is not a shit ton of people who enjoyed it there are (from what i hear) other "better" vids by datto and moreconsole that you could watch instead of complaining about the one you did watch...and in case youre new here bungies revels have never been top notch they are a gaming CO not a movie CO be glad you got to see some new stuff
