EVERYONE CANCEL TTK
A quick summary..
1400+ hours
All exotics, raid gear, blah blah I got it all.
Now, I know we have all had a blast playing the same 8 or whatever strikes, 2 raids, missions etc repeatedly for thousands of hours, endlessly grinding for what we want so we can be the elite players.
Well all that is gone now, and that's not what this even about.
This is about ACTIVISION and the hold they have over bungie and every poor soul who bought TTK.
Bungievision WILL NOT stop releasing overpriced dlc with everything reskinned in areas that have been reversed or opened up from being locked behind a paywall since launch.
They will continue to trick you into swallowing their load with their fake advertising and their head puppet (Deej)
Yes Deej, the guy who you all think is awesome (which he is in some respect) but Mr Deej is like the traveller, except you know Deej is an evil bastard, but it's not his fault, Activision also have their hand up his ass.
We all know Deej can talk a lot, a lot of what he says is exactly what he has been saying in every interview etc since they launch of destiny, except shifted around a bit with a new word here and there.. But that's his job right? To spin Bungievision's lies any which way they please.
All of you need to realise that this game WILL NOT get any better. All of the features they are adding should have been in the game since launch. Whether or not they pushed Destiny's release is irrelevant, "Hey man you guys finish destiny yet? Hell yeah, but we're gonna chop this bitch up and make some more portions out of it, because why the hell not right?" Bungie may as well have partnered with EA.
Ughhhh. My point is ladies and gentlemen, I'm trying to help you. Just think about it logically, save your money. Don't buy TTK. Don't help bungie continue to get away with their crap. If we don't buy TTK they will HAVE to start making destiny a better game.
We want free dlc! We want free updates!
I would pay for worthy expansions!
Warframe, Titanfall, Neverwinter, hundreds of free games......... with free dlc too. What a world we live in. Don't buy TTK.

It's not technically a dlc it's more along the lines of Destiny 2. People enjoy the concept of chance as it's different rather than have anything handed to you on a silver platter. Price is a little high yes but there's a large amount of content Comming so look at the positive

Lets say everyone stops playing Destiny tomorrow. Then what? You gonna go convince all the 13 year olds to stop buying any and all CoD games? Because if Activision isn't making money from Destiny, guess where their main source of income is? You guessed it, Call of Duty. They wouldn't care. Unless Weed camo shaders and 420 sparrows show i'm ok dropping money for overpriced DLC.

I will keep monitoring this forum and my clan chat. I have been shooting the same dud with BETTER HC the whole year. They don't make new guns...if it a Hand Cannon...it is an Old gun. What ever you call it Fulcrum, hawkmoon, suros Omolon Odolon simbolon anything...its still hand cannon. It is a old gun. Fatebringer is the best because It make big explosion. We play video game to have fun. Fun when we see a big explosion. when we make progress. Shooting the same object over and over is not fun and boring...so bullet sponge is no no. Its better the make many enemies spawn but we can kill them in few shot. and if we hit the critical target...It will explode. Thats why we like Fatebringer on thralls or if there is burn. The Twin Brothers Strike just like a boring Valus Ta'aruc strike Why don't you guys make we can fly the ship. a team that work together. Or make new fun perks for our gun. like a perk that will make the enemy dance if we shoot their legs for 20 second....so we can laugh...and then malee them. We want bungie keep creative. Nothing new on that strike. It even worse. we know the enemy will take a break when their health down...I don't like it.

Ttk is the first game I have ever pre ordered. Did it last week. I enjoy the game and everything I've seen makes me lust for ttk.

That in no way reflects my intelligence or IQ. In fact it'll sit nicely next to my Ghost edition on display. I've had countless hours of fun with countless people that I may have never met if it weren't for Destiny. That's a goddamn win in my book. If you don't like the game, quit. Luke Smith and DeeJ have both straight up said that the reddit AMA guy and the how things were supposed to be post were just fan fic. But if you think they're evil self-serving people who are mouthpieces for a greedy corporation, then neither they nor me, will change your mind. As for improvements in the game. Have you not been seeing a slow progression of improvement? HoW had some lackluster content at the endgame, but it did have a lot of quality of life improvements which I appreciated quite a bit. TTK is stepping that up to a whole new level. It doesn't have everything I want yet, but they're finally moving in the right direction. DLC/expansions will never be free if they are going to continue game development. The alternative is micro transactions and if that ever happens (beyond some floofy cosmetic stuff like WoW does), I will drop Destiny faster than Speedy Gonzales can look like a racial stereotype. Is Destiny perfect? No. There's my olive branch. But I'm not going to sit around and pretend that the game is somehow getting worse or the $800 over ten years for a FPS-RPG type thing isn't a good deal. Though the pricing is my own opinion, if you think it should be cheaper or whatever, you are allowed to think that, but free just isn't realistic. Edit: I realize that you said you'd pay for good expansions. I hope TTK is the one you're looking for, but I can't say for sure yet, despite my cautious optimism. Seriously though, feel free to wait for the reviews. Play it at a friend's house or whatever you need to. I will be willing to eat my words is TTK falls flat.
