Its the whole basis of the entire story...the new dlc should be locked until you down crota
If anyone needs help on xbox with crota gt RPO1728 on 360 and 1 we could 2 man the entire raid in about half an hour...im usually on 7-11 east coast
Edit-mostly positive responses, even if they disagree, which is OK bc im not a flat soda poster here...for good or bad i love the passion of the community, and im a man of my word, message on xbox and we'll run thru it ! Keep it coming guardians !

I don't get it.. Any of us could have been counted as the ones to kill Crota. I don't understand why a player, whose Guardian didn't participate in Crota's End is not allowed to play the new expansion. Oryx is targeting every single one of us. Every single one of us should be able to fight.
-
I just wish that TTK was a PS4 and Xbox One exclusive. That way vault space and everything else wouldn't have been held back yet again. I know it would suck if you only have a ps3 or 360, but honestly, save up for a few months and upgrade. It's well worth it and will be necessary in the next year to play any games coming out anyways. (especially fallout 4)
-
2 RisposteNo. It should be locked till you upgrade your console, and grow your first pube.
-
Why should they be a requirement of nobody is hardly going to play them when ttk comes out.
-
I only agree with it because it breaks the story but as a requirement comes optional matchmaking.
-
6 RisposteIdiotic post is idiotic. Oryx is coming because his son was killed by guardians. Just because some guardians haven't yet "become legend" does not mean Oryx is going to wait on all of the guardians to be ready. The raids are completed outside of the persistent solo experience every person has, so as long as some guardians have completed it, the world experience will continue.
-
12 RisposteI don't have the DLC... So I don't get to play unless I'm forced to buy the first "expansion".
-
7 RisposteLmfao fūck that. I hear the Crota raid is ass. And while it may make sense from a story perspective that we have to kill Crota...how many people, Bungie included, do you think give a shit about the story?
-
2 RisposteForcing players to buy soon-to-be outdated expansions is just bad game design.
-
4 RisposteNah, this would be stupid. Some people don't have TDB and shouldn't be forced to buy it in order to play TTK.
-
What you say kind of makes sense. The problem is some people have killed Crota multiple times. Let that sink in. I assume when TTK comes out you could complete the new raid and then...kill Crota again? How does that make sense? I know you want the story to flow logically, but the fact that you can kill this guy multiple times makes it impossible to truly make sense.
-
18 RisposteWithout matchmaking, that's an impossible prerequisite.
-
54 RisposteNo. A lot of us don't have the people to complete a raid and don't say use lfg. It's annoying
-
Lore wise, only a group of six took down crota. So Oryx, in revenge, declares war on earth and anyone who stands against him
-
-
Pointless, LFG is toxic. On the rare occasion (every day but Monday cuz y'know), will you find a team willing to play with those without Gjallarhorn, even if the DLC is below the current level cap.
-
Then make the dlc free.
-
4 RisposteI never intend to use LFG, but all I have seen on twitch was a bunch of Guardians, running through the same boring hoard of enemies, then getting ordered by the leader to stand with rocket launchers ready while some guy hits this big ass monster with a sword. Now where exactly is the story in that ? And TTK is about his pi$$ed off dad coming to seek revenge.
-
That would be a great idea for Bungie...if the wanted to lose vast amounts of money and a large portion of their fan base. That said I do see your logic
-
I agree. It's part of the lore, and making people at least do it once would be a good idea so they can see what they've been missing.
-
3 RisposteNo. Because there are many guardians, onyx wants to kill all guardians now becaude a few took his son down.

Modificato da pallwizzy: 8/12/2015 10:37:24 PMWhile I agree, it seems there more so saying guardians, the group, are who killed him and because your a guardian that means guilty by association.
-
Makes sense but day one players will be really confused. I mean, if you're required to do TDB, shouldn't you be required to do HoW?
-
TTK should only be on new systems
-
I guess I agree ._. Since all the dialogue and story is assuming you have killed him
