Just had my third brain surgery......
And I'm scheduled to have two more later this week. The reason I'm posting this is cause I'm only 15 and would like some moral support and plz be nice in the responses. :)
I'm trying to replies to as many of the posts as possible but between doctors and nurses its getting hard. But I just wanted to say thanks for the support and I'm going to try to get some rest I'll also try to replies more tomorrow. Thanks again for the support it means a lot.
EDIT; to every who thinks that I'm trying to get Foaf ur wrong I went to these forums because destiny is the only game I play and enjoy and just to clear some stuff up I don't have cancer or a tumer or anything like that.
I have a disease that causes spinal pressure to build up in my brain and about a year ago I had two surgery's to implant a device to help regulate the pressure but that device just recently failed so now there trying to fix it and find a permanent solution.
EDIT; to everyone who thinks I'm trying to get Foaf ur wrong like I said before. And I would like to say that A Turtle is wrong the disease I have doesn't give me demenshia or however you spell it. I have a disease very similar to hydrocephalus but it can cause me to go blind. So I'm lucky I can play game like destiny. And please don't spread rumors that ur not positive about it can hurt feelings.
EDIT; just want to say thanks for all the support even after some people started spreading rumors. And I just want to clarify I don't want Foaf or anything like that I simply wanted some support. And the device in my head is called a VP shunt.

Man some of these trolls are outright disgraceful, how about we all stop looking for the worst in people and just wish him luck with his surgery and chin up. If it then turns out to be an elaborate troll ( not saying that it is) then shame on them, but otherwise STFU actually show a shred of compassion. Best of luck mate! Hope everything goes well!

Do you have vasculitis? What you are describing is what my dad just went through the last 5 years of my life, shunt and and all. He has a chiari malformation that caused him to have a bout of extreme vasculitis of the blood vessels in his brain followed by a case of hydrocephalus that NY Presbyterian hospital had a case conference on with drs all over the country and world due to the progression of his chiari malformation causing the vasculitis and hydrocephalus. The pic you shared is the exact same as how my father's looked when they replaced the shunt in his head with a magnetic version that can be controlled without invasive surgery. My father is on Marinol (medical Marijuana pills) to help with nerve pain and sensations, he's in a study for off label use of it.

Wish you luck, that's a major op. Probably wasn't the best place to look for support though considering there's loads of arseholes in here intent on making the community look bad

I say this as someone who has lost people close to me from cancer and losing one currently: It truly hurts me to see a child like you going through that. I'm so sorry bro. My love and thoughts are with ya, that's all i can offer. I think when you come out of this you will have a perspective on life that very few of us get to have. You will LIVE life, not go along for the ride like 99.9999% of us end up doing. You're a stallion, you're gonna make it bro. My daughter is your age and it just breaks my heart to hear this. Sometimes, I dream of myself being an eagle flying to Mars and capturing the space princess Zalphadol and marrying her to only find out she is my long lost pet Komodo Dragon that ran away when I got home from graduating preschool. The dream might seem weird but it isn't weird for me when I wake up and see my fabulous Komodo Dragon wife and 9 kids (which look more like my wife and not me).
