After replacing my original controller with a second I've gone on to replace the R2 triggers upward of 25 times between the two of them. I order five or ten of them at a time now to keep on hand. I don't treat my things poorly. If you take a look at the design of the R2 you'll see the design flaw and why the same pin breaks every time.
