So the HOW raid that was cut is gone for good
In an interview with kotaku it was revealed that the TTK raid is the next raid.
This means that the raid that was cut from HOW is gone for good. I was hoping that it would make an appearance this summer as free dlc.

No no no no no my friends the sodomy is just beginning because you actually have to double up! Pay the $40!!! And what's that? You want early access to the new sh*tty vanguard weapons? Well... my friends you guessed right! My fellow guardians we are going to have to TRIPLE UP! And pay the $60!!! (Which by the way guys and gals...please PLEASE PLEASE PLEASE do not give in to the temptation and pay an extra $20 for something that's going to just sit in your vault. Oh that's right! We don't (and WON'T) have the space in our vault to collect weapons or even play the game! So therefore, please don't pay an extra $20 for garbage weapons that you're just going to dismantle after a week. PLEASE! And lastly....the one you've all be waiting for, the GRAND FINALE! You can quadruple up for a HUGE, whopping awesome strange coin replica and some stupid "journal of cayde-6" MY GOD PEOPLE...PLEASE STAND UP FOR YOURSELVES AND say no I will NOT pay for this garbage. 2 RisposteRemember bungie has taught us 4 things from release and E3 showcases. 1. Everything is subject to change. 2. What we show you is in the game but you wont get it right away. They can showcase future content and not release it for what they show off. (Ghost shells, TDB and HoW locked areas, exotic weapons/armor that are in the code but dont show up aka vesta dynasty and fate of all fools, raids, missions, even cut scenes and dialogue like running into Crow on Earth.) 3. Become legend the way we intended you to play the game. Number 3 basically means that long standing glitches and issues will never be fixed but anything that benefits you or gives you an edge is fixed immediately. And im not even talking exploits or cheats. The arkon priest strike has been fixed 5 times to prevent players from doing a variety of things. You want to snipe? Go F yourself these enemies have to punch you in the face. You want the audio fixed in VoG? What the hell dont you know how complicated that is?! We need at least 9+ months for that. 4. Past gen is holding us back therefor we cannot fix long standing issues or improve upon areas we know need fixing like raids. I am basically assuming that nothing showcased in TTK will be in it. At the very least i bet half of what they have shown will be released later. Kinda like how VoG and Crota's End were not 100% ready at launch. We even had to wait longer for hard modes so they could basically have the player base test everything first and then patch the hell out of it to prevent anything we found that was beneficial.

31 RisposteHoW never had a raid. Only Bungie fanboys believed that HoW had a secret raid that was going to magically appear before TTK. When HoW was originally datamined the "raid" was called The Arena. Which actually turned out to be the Prison of Elders. I've been telling this to forum idiots for months now but they are in denial about everything even when Bungie tells IGN directly that HoW will not come with a raid later on. Don't worry though, you'll get a raid with your $40 dlc.

The HoW raid wasn't cut. It was changed into poe. It made there be a little more diversity of end-game mission types. Now with that said, raids are still better than poe, until poe gets a better drop rate on primary weapons with elemental and exotic weapons.

Edit: There simply is no larger reason, or purpose, for doing PoE .... rewards suck, and the armor is too situational to PoE, a smart move would be have for PoE armor to help in PvP and PvP armor to help in PvE ...

Im getting pretty sick of hearing this. Nowhere did Bungie actually say there would be a raid with HoW. There was a placeholder title in the leaked info early in the games lifecycle, before the dlc was finalised, and the key word there is LEAKED. Bungie can't be held responsible for something not coming to pass if they never actually told us it would be coming in the first place. (plus there is a good chance they put raid in that document to signify that there would be some larger endgame content there, and didn't know at that point what it would be).

Well, they did say "a raid is coming". They just didn't say it wouldn't be for HoW.

I think the poe was actually mean to be the raid buy was reworked and released as what it is now. How else do you explain being able to get the flawless raider trophy from prison? That explains that it was probably originally coded as a raid.
