You can check out all the new subclasses abilities here -- http://planetdestiny.com/ttk-subclass-overview/
plz look at all new subclasses before you comment on how overboard my idea seems.
To all fans that want to wait before passing judgment and want to play with abilities first, that's fine. If none of the abilities are set in stone just yet, I want to give them early feedback to voice my opinion early on, so they can see and probably make changes. I don't want the game to drop to see that the abilities (which are now set in stone) are imbalanced and then see the complaints flying in trying to nerf abilities and kill the game for everyone. Bungie should release a beta just to play with the abilities before it's set in stone, so fans can give them feedback. From what I see already, I looked at all abilities and I play destiny enough to know how things are going to turn out in different scenarios just by reading the description of each ability -- I'm a very strategic-minded player. Yes, a lot of this is pvp based and pvp is a small part of the game, but it still matters to us pvp players (but I do think it would also benefit pve). Now, on with the show.
Hunter column 1 note: tethered is the sticky web from there super ability. This is all utility perks for the hunter below.
1.uncanny archer. Every target tethered increases your Armor and Recovery stats by 1 until Shadowshot is next recharged. Reduced time until next Shadowshot.
2.shadowtrapper -- tethers have increased range, duration and potency.
3.well provisioned -- gain an additional grenade and significantly increase grenade durations.
Column 2
1.keen scout -- sneak faster, gain enhanced motion tracker and mark targets you damage. Allies get waypoints to marks.
2.rapid shot -- after firing your initial shadowshot arrow, you may fire up to two explosive arrows in quick succession.
3.shadestep -- gain an evade
Hunter melee is a smoke bomb and a knife, like gunslinger having two in one, abilities below.
1. This is the first melee ability which means its combined with 1 of the there abilities that comes with it. It slows and disorients anyone in the cloud
2.smog, it increases size of the smoke bomb for multiple targets.
3.adds a toxin suffocates enemies in the smoke
4.allows smoke to stick to surfaces detonating when enemies are near.
Now the titan
Melee sunstrike -- ignite your enemies with a heavy strike combo with
1.melting point -- burn away your target's defenses, target takes more damage from both you and your allies.
2.fulminator -- your sunstrike melee releases a solar explosion on hit, igniting enemies within the blast. Kills create a sunspot around you.
3.stoke the forge -- natively reduces the cooldown of your sunstrike melee. Getting a killing blow with sunstrike instantly recharges it.
Utility perks column 1
1.fleetfire -- enemies brought down by your fire grant you bonus agility and reload speed for a short time. Stacks up to 3 times.
2.tempering -- grenade and melee abilities cool down faster when hammer of sol is fully charged.
3.wreathed in flames -- hammer of sol lasts longer and you gain an overshield while standing near a sunspot.
Column 2
1.flameseeker -- your hammer of sol will alter is flight path to seek out your enemies.
2.enemies brought down by your fire regenerate your health.
3.wildfire -- enemies brought down by your hammer explode, catching other nearby enemies on fire.
The hunter's super and utility perks are very useful and so are the titans, but the warlock's can be tweaked a little for more diversity and to make it more desireable to use, rather than staying on the same perk everytime we play (we are way more limited in attractive perk options). From what I can tell, you want the new subclasses to be kind of overpowering which is cool. So I have a few ideas to give to your team.
I would like to say that the hunter and warlock should both have blink jump on their new subclasses...had to put that in there.
list of bungie warlock utility abilities as of today column 1 this column is not a super ability
1.rain check -when revived, you trigger a shockwave disorienting all nearby enemies.( I LIKE BUT ADDED TO IT) this is Not self revive.
2.uninsulated -- incoming melee attacks shock the attacker. (I LIKE )
3.inclement weather -- getting a grenade kill recharges your melee. Getting a melee kill recharge your grenade. (I DON'T LIKE, REMOVE)
I added more to rain check and took out inclement weather.
Now column 2
1.gathering storm - stormtrance charges faster when allies are in close proximity. When stormtrance is active, nearby enemies take damage.(I LIKE)
2.greased lightning -- enemies damaged by your grenades chain deadly lightning to other nearby enemies.(I LIKE, ADDED AN EVADE)
3.wellspring -- when cast when full grenade and thunderstrike energy, stormtrance restores your health to full and drains slower. (I LIKE)
I didn't add anything to this column other then evade, which you can read about below.
Grenade and Utility Perk 1
THIS BUNGIE IDEA HERE: inclement weather -- getting a grenade kill recharges your melee. Getting a melee kill recharge your grenade (but is the recharge instantly or do I have to kill a lot to get fully recharged? If not, then I think my perk idea should be considered)
My idea is in bold letters to replace bungie perk at the end of this paragraph. Warlock should have the arcbolt grenade or flux grenade. The other classes have one grenade type from each other class. I think arcbolt would be useful with the utility perk I added, but I would prefer the flux grenade over the arcbolt,.. The new grenade should have ground travel shock to it, like shockwave, but smaller and duration like aftermath, but not as deadly.... The utility perk should increase duration to all grenades with shock burn, like ignite burn damage over time. Remove melee cools down grenade, grenade cools down melee perk.
Super
The second super on bungie super is a chain link ability, I think it should be combined with the third super ability.. The second super should be an aerial attack like the fist of havoc you activate while in the air, but staying in air shooting lightning bolts down toward your opponents killing them instantly like the titan hammer. I think the warlock should have a instant kill ability on this subclass. It may be too late to put in the animations for the aerial attack, so you can just use the same animation you have for the stormtrance super and just add in the ability to shoot out lightning bolts, similar to how the titan shoots his hammer.
My Reason: The drain effect can be stopped by the person you're hitting in pvp cause it doesn't kill on contact, which mean the warlock's super can be wasted if opponent pops their super and 1 hits you. The supers should one each other, like all the other attack supers do. Once you change the attack super that doesn't kill instantly and have them waste their super, the fans will get upset. So the aerial or ground lightning attack gives the warlock fans what they need, but also can switch to what you have already, which can add more diversity to supers.
Utility Perk on Column 1
THIS IS BUNGIE IDEA HERE: rain check -- when revived, you trigger a shockwave disorienting all nearby enemies
Here's my idea to make it little more benefical:
The revive should be available in all crucible modes, it should have a 3 to 5 second cool down plus 3 to 5 second revive point, and if no one picks him up, then perk ability is wasted. The revive should have a bunch of abilities that it offers to you and your team so to make a team mate want to come revive you. THIS IS NOT A SELF REVIVE, SOME ONE HAS TO REVIVE YOU. This is in taken king right now, I'm just expanding on bungies idea.
First, there should be energy that blasts off the warlock with the radius being as big as the nova vortex bomb.
Second, the blast should blind, slow down and shock opponents while doing a small amount of damage over time with chain connect to nearby enemies. The slow down is because they're being shocked, which disrupts the nervous system which will cause your body not to react right.
Third, the reviver will get a slight boost to recovery, grenade cooldown, super cool down and a boost to weapon damage between 2% to 6%. Allies that are in the blast radius will get a slight boost in recovery and grenade cooldown. The warlock will be revived with melee and grenade energy and temp shield. This will make it strategic as well.
Utility Perk on column 2 Adding to Grease Lightning perk
While warlock is crouching, he should gain a quick dashing ability, something to evade quickly like mortal kombat's raiden. Activating it can be like the invisible perk for blade dancer, the player's screen will have a glow indicating the evade is ready to use. But if not used, it will fade off like the invisibility.
Titan
1. While activating their super in a sun spot, it should give a temporary shield over nearby allies as well, similar to blessings of the light.
2. Should have a slightly blinding sun ray that irritates its opponent's vision as he gets closer to them..
Exotic----angel of light shoes should be given to the voidwalker class...
