So i'm casually watching some Taken King footage on the link provided and at around the 10min 45sec bit of the video, in my opinion Deej implies that it's our fault we have lack of vault space from "collecting" things. He goes on to basically say that "we tend to use 3-5 weapons" and that we have to make "tough decisions" to better understand the game. He can't be serious right?? He's got to be taking the piss. I can think of at least 8 weapons i use on regular basis.
Would love your opinions guys

I actually agree with him sorry to say. My vault only contains quality stuff that I know I will need. Don't give a dam about collecting. Will be fun to show Legendary bundle babies my old skool weapons and they get jelly coz they can't have them.
-
Why do people bitch so much about a game u act like u use all 34 of those weapons
-
1 RispondiThat's a lame excuse so they dont have to spend time creating a larger vault and listening to the community. It's easier to do it this way. Also, why make so many -blam!-ing guns if you are only really supposed to use 3-4 and have an empty vault. -blam!- off bungie.
-
It's Deej's way of saying: Here at Bungie headquarters, We don't care about customer satisfaction. We care money. Pools of money. You want a better deal? (On the price of the Dlc?) You can all gobble down our balls. You're paying for it.

1 RispondiIf you find a gun you love in a perfect world at least one of each burn...from what ive seen of him playing destiny, he shouldn't be giving tips
-
pretty much, he's saying gjallarhorn and fatebringer is gonna be gone soon, and i can agree on that. who wants to use ghorn and fatebringer and visions for a whole year? it gets boring. they're gonna end up bringing a new weapon thats better than ghorn anyway, maybe we'll get another gun as good as hawkmoon!
-
7 RisposteI only use like three or so weapons myself and do just fine. I agree with him.

2 RisposteModificato da GoatInTheTree: 6/18/2015 12:02:21 PMI can think of 9 that you need to have, void, arc and solar for each slot so you have a choice for each burn type. If you like to use different weapons in different situations, so i have all the types for each slot primary 4 secondary 4 heavy 2 For a total of 30
-
4 RisposteI understand what he's saying, however there's going to come a time where our old weapons (ie fatebringer, VoC etc) won't be usable because they won't be strong enough. So I'm pretty sure most of us won't just want to up and dismantle it. We like to keep things for sentimentle reasons. I do see where deej is coming from though

Damn hoarders be collecting monte Carlos. ...
-
Fatebringer VoC Verdict Gjally Btrd Corrective Vex Thorn Tlw IB Red Death HoC Fang Invective PnT + so much more Yeah thats only 4 or 5 guns....
-
I have about 8 guns I use regularly per character
-
2 RisposteWhy do you need vault space for those 8 weapons?
-
I can honestly say that I DO collect weapons and armor from all the different events in Destiny. It goes back to my days playing Final Fantasy (which makes it sound like I don't anymore, but I still pop in VII from time to time). One never knows what they may or may not need in the battles ahead, so it is wise to have a wide array of gear so you are prepared for anything. I have gear for VoG, Crota's End, Iron Banner, representing my faction on my hunter. (Dead Orbit if anyone is curious), the list goes on. I understand we have to make "tough decisions" but that should not mean we should have to get rid of gear that we have put so much time and effort into in just attaining it, which is sometimes WAAAAY harder than actually leveling them to be of use in battle. ~Kurosaki

Pretty sure I use more than 5 weapons. In each class at that. Primary: Nechrochasm, NLB, fatebringer, thorn, Ill will, Mida Multi-tool, TLW, etc. Secondary: Her courtesy, Matador 64, Icebreaker, Lord of Wolves, Efrideets spear, Queenbreakers bow, etc. Heavy: Ghorn, Tomorrow's answer, Truth, Against all odds, radegast's fury, etc. So I don't know what Deej is talking about?
-
1 RispondiHe said he collects stuff too, but his message is that eventually you ought to let go of stuff you barely ever use. What's the point of having a weapon you use maybe twice in a month?
-
1 RispondiHe wants us to get rid of weapons so when things get tweaked we have to Rng grind for them again
-
1 RispondiAnd it's funny... The ones that agree with DeeJ are old Moderators, or some kind of Bungie employee. Either that or they only have one Legendary. When you have 3 High levels you need more weapons to satisfy the needs of EACH character.
-
1 RispondiSo what does that make the people like me, who have a massive arsenal of different weapons and armor for every scenario? I'm not collecting, i'm preparing to fight a damn war!
-
3 RispostePaid good money for this great game. If u think we shouldn't need so much vault space then don't offer so many dam guns in the game. Since the latest dlc came out I quickly ran out of room and had to scrap some stuff. Not exactly what I was wanting to do.

Dam u str8 babygurl

totally agree he avoided the question all together about more vault space, blamed us for collecting weapons and when destin had asked him about possibly bringing back old weapons like shadow price again totally dodged the question and said we should look forward to new weapons. Calls himself a community manager when he never answers questions and never truly knows what the community want, yet hes the one sent to answer questions about the taken king.

I think bungie made a big mistake with allowing old weapons to be ascended with etheric light. As much as I love my 365 fatebringer, I believe this way of leveling up will encourage weapon hoarding and this of course relates to players running out of vault space. In the past I would have to weight up still using a 300 weapon because of the perks and that's fine depending on people's play style. But now you can ascend them, the decision is not required anymore. This I think is detrimental to weapon progression as we can agree the new weapons for this dlc is pretty meh!! So hence you will just continue to use older weapons, as it could have the same damage output. Bungie would have made this decision with etheric light to make us grind for this material as it's no surprise they know we love using the old weapons. I would not be surprise if they scrap the etheric light in the taken king, forcing players to decide once again whether you want to use a 365 weapon with preferred perks or a 400 based damage weapon. Personally I'm more looking forward to the new legendary hand cannon that will replace my go to fck everything up fatebringer..

5 RisposteBump. I collect... Exotic weapons cause I paid for them. Exotic gear cause I paid for them. Raid weapons cause I paid for them. Raid gear cause I paid for them. Faction weapons cause I paid for them. Faction gear cause I paid for them. Queens weapons cause I paid for them. Queens gear cause I paid for them. PoE weapons cause I paid for them. PoE gear cause I paid for them. ToO weapons cause I paid for them ToO gear cause I paid for them. I paid for this game and should be able to keep all of my gear and weapons. I shouldn't have to delete things because new things that I pay for come out.

Here's the thing, there really isn't anything that can be done about vault space right now. They already had to remove a functionality* to increase the size once, technical limitations are getting in the way, they've said this publicly. Knowing this players should be conscious of the fact that the vault isn't getting any bigger anytime soon. *Previously you could compare equipped gear with gear in the vault without having to take it out. They removed that function to increase the vault size o the size it's at now

He knows nothing about what we want and COMPLETELY bullshíts half the time. So you're telling me that being forced to delete weapons that I like will make my guardian unique?!?!
