Add an "Old Trash" Vendor!
Why not add a vendor that sells old legendaries? Remember Zombie Apocalypse, the Shadow Price, the Devil You Know, and the other great legendaries that we can't get anymore? How about the Dead Orbit hand cannon, the old Future War Cult marks, and all those Dark Below cosmetic items?
What I suggest is a vendor who sells 6 or so random legendary items per week from the past. It would be a cool way to use some of the old data that we currently have on disc that currently only benefits a few of us and can let some newer players in on the older gear.

Edit: This vendor's merchandise w/ community ideas!
1. Old guns for a high price
2. Old armor pieces
3. Gun parts and armor materials
4. Let the sweeping robot be a vendor selling one gun/armor a piece
5. Put him/her/it next to the post master and special orders in that empty space (if we don't praise the sweeping robot already)
6. Give the armor/weapons random stats, elements, and perk rolls
7. Let him be known as, "Cecil the Scrapper!"
8. Call it the, ''Thriftshop''
9. Have Randal the Vandal have a chance of dropping a legendary engram that will become a vanilla weapon
10. Make him like Xur but he shows up on Tuesday
11. "Make it a vendor in the reef, one that has gone though the junk floating around and found these old forgotten treasures"
12. Let players buy items back from the last few that were dismantled.

Edit: Credit for this great idea goes to my brother. We just constantly come up with personal ideas for this game to be better but I loved this one so much that I just had to post it. I really want this to be a thing to add some cool oldies back to the roster.

We need the old weapons back cause the new ones suck ass I dismantle most of the new weapons cause there crap and kept and ascended most of my old weapons

Have at the Vanguard and Crucible Quartermasters where there is a Random Weapon you could buy for 175 Vanguard Marks and a Mote of Light. You have a chance to get weapons like Bad Seed Down, Grim Citizen, and if unlucky, a Doctor Nope or something like that.
