3 RisposteI'll admit that I got my Vex totally by surprise. A buddy on my friend's list asked for some help with Atheon and I hopped in. I didn't know it was on hard at first. When we finished, I was pleasantly shocked. We can call it luck for me, but I honestly believe that most people earn their Vex from repeated runs of the Vault of Glass on hard. It's certainly a process, and it can be frustrating. Why do I say all that? Because somebody who fights for their Vex, or Gjallarhorn, or Thorn deserves to use it in whatever way they see fit. We've all been on the other side of these weapons ( I myself have head-butted more than a few Thorn shots ), but the expectation that we shouldn't have the right to use our very best gear that we worked for in a competitive setting is folly. I wish you the best of luck in the Crucible, Guardian, and if some day we meet and you take me down, even while I'm wielding my Vex, then it'll be a well-earned victory, and I'll tip my hat to you.

What ISN'T cheap in the crucible. Due to it's recent nerfs(FR nerf) it takes much longer to kill someone with the Vex than with the Thorn or TLW.

Not saying I don't like using my exotics, but just think about how interesting it would be for a minute. When's the last time you haven't used an exotic weapon?

Somebody got killed by the vex too much lol. My guess is by your logic, hand cannons, shotguns and rockets are cheap too.

I use to go through the crucible getting beat by the Thorn, Vex, TLW, etc. Then, I decided to tough it out and work through raids, nightfalls on all my characters, whatever I had to do to get those weapons. I got the Vex and am still working to upgrade it. Will I use it in the crucible? You bet!!!! :-)

Get better. KD ain't everything. Learn how to play smarter, not just rush in there guns blazing. The vex sucks at long range. So keep your distance.
