The Witcher 3 has more story in one side quest than the entirety of Destiny

I agree with you. However you are comparing two completely different games story. Meaning you have a single player only game that's literally built around an immersive story line and side quests whereas Destiny is built completely for multiplayer. So yeah of course it's going to have immensely more gameplay story (story that you actually play) than destiny (has cards to read). I play both (haven't play HoW due to no Internet and moving) but I've played both games and love both of them. Never once did I think to myself "man this game is much better than destiny" or "meh it's not as good as destiny" because you can't compare two completely different game types.

Of course the Witcher and Destiny are two very, very different games, so the comparison is not super useful.

4 RisposteFunny because this game has the same characteristics as Dark Souls. So yeah the lack of story does sum up for the amount of lore we would need for the game since Dark Souls did the same thing with items. Your argument isn't invalid though you have a good point made but I believe this should be expressed since that's the path Bungie was trying to convey

Witcher 3 is a nice game and I might even buy it some day soon, but this is what is annoying about it: Step 1: I'm looking for person X Step 2: Find person A who tells you they don't know where person X is, but person B does. Step 3: Find person B who tells you they don't know where person X is, but person C does. Step 4: Find person C who will tell you where person X is if you kill person/thing Y for them. Step 5: Find and kill/not kill person/thing Y. Return to person C. Step 6: Person C says they only know rumor of where person X was last seen. Repeat steps 1 to 6 x20 throughout game until stumbling on person X anyways.

11 RisposteDestiny has a story You are reborn as a Guardian to protect humans that's your job. We are given many jobs as work for our Guardian. Our Jobs have us working to Wake up the Traveler. As the end game content kicks in we are told by The Stranger, There is a lot more work to be done as a Guardian and we are only just starting. Next was Eris misions. Eris told us That the Hive was making plans to overtake Earth. We had to do Guardian jobs that lead to us killing Crota the so called Hive God. Then the Awaken Queen asked Guardians to help her out. We have forgotten all about The Traveler and the speaker by now. So we went off to work for the Queen of the reef. We decovered the Fallen Prophet was bringing all fallen from history back to life. His plans was to overtake everything possible. He had to be stoped at any cost. So our story of working as a Guardian continues as Bungie produces more game add ons. My Point We killed the Vex God in the black Guarden We killed the Hive God in Eris's missions We killed the Fallen Prophet who had the power of a God We are Guardians we do our jobs that is the story of Destiny.

That's very obvious, yet still your post is pointless. Because even with its flaws, Destiny is still enjoyable and playable. The game has been out for 9 months and still has a great number of players enjoying it. Witcher 3 looks really decent and I will buy it and play it, but not yet since there's nothing that can't keep me away from my Destiny addiction. Yet Witcher 3 I'll beat soon even with its vast story. I'm pretty sure I can beat Witcher 3 very quick (I'm a very good RPG player). So after beating Witcher 3 it won't have replay ability...so it's over and done after that. We love destiny and I love destiny.

I would love to share more but spoilers cause people to be met with ninja justice. I will say that witcher 3 holds more information in each mission set than 1 of destiny but looking at the bigger picture, destiny has has more rich content in terms of story. I am not saying witcher is bad just saying you should research your shit before you write it. Bring on the hate

Then instead of posting on the destiny forum (yes, even though this is on bungie.net, its the "destiny" forum you're in), go play witcher 3 and let us enjoy our game? I don't see why people feel the need to tell other communities that their game is better than anyone elses, instead of talking about how good your game is with like-minded people. Please enlighten me if I'm mistaken in my thinking that this is a rather ridiculous conecpt.

21 RisposteI'm baffled that anyone would do either of the following in the 9th Destiny month: 1. Try to claim that Destiny has any story of note 2. Try to compare Destiny to a story rich game e.g. The Witcher I have both Destiny and The Witcher and will play both for completely different reasons.
