People like this are the reason I don't play any strike playlists anymore, thank god PoE teleports AFKers to the middle of the map where they get lit up like a bon fire. these people seriously killed my enjoyment of this game because it's IMPOSSIBLE for me to get into ANY strike, without at least 1 person sitting AFK. I dunno if I'm just unlucky with freaking matchmaking, but it's seriously annoying.
Edit: I'd also like to note, this is merely my own opinion, but, I find "speedrunners" who leave you in the dust to deal with all the mobs on your own are about as bad as AFKers, in MY OPINION. Really tired of being left to deal with all 3 minotaurs, every single hobgoblin, harpy, and goblins in the pike run of the Priest, really grinds my gears.

You can only kill those harpies so many times before it gets old.. Never had someone complain bout them mopping adds while I kill the boss for them in the darkness zone cause they are so damn slow

It literally happened to me one time. I finished the strike but I was mad of course. I just figured for all the times I joined a strike and it was right at the end, it was my turn to suck it up.

I agree with you about speed runners The pike run is not a real problem Worst place is on Mars strike when they leave you with a room full of cabal while they skip through to the outside area where they can sit in comfort and snipe

Oh that's the worst, I had 2 lvl 32 speed runners pushing me and pestering me last night while I was trying to kill cabal and then they nicked off and killed the boss while I was stuck getting pummeled by rockets and HMG, I may be slower but it's because I like to wipe a map on my way through.

Sounds like a couple of idiots. I assume these were not through matchmaking as they were a lot higher level. I can see by your profile that you haven't been playing long and they should have known too and helped clear the areas and not have expected you to do a speed run as you would have got the rewards, but not learned the techniques for getting through without them You might be better of with randoms from matchmaking as they should be a similar level to you and you can get through areas together

Especially when the first two alert every Cabal in the place by skipping through it. THEY didn't have any problem getting through there, oh no. I also hate that strike for the number of times I've been teleported ahead by speeders getting killed by the Goliath and screwing up my "complete without dying" bounty.

I usually head straight down to the use my ghost to hack the terminal. Speed runners usually hang back, snipe, get on sparrows and charge through If you don't hack the terminal and leave the game, they get to the outside area with no adds spawning and have to either quit or fight back to the start so they can do the hack themselves I had on group do this - I followed them without hacking the terminal to see the result. They died multiple times trying the speed run and then died multiple times trying to get back before they quit. I now know why they speed run - they can't fight

Getting teleported ahead does not count as a death

If your not trying to complete the strike without dying, you can always kill yourself to force him to teleport to the final fight. See whether he fights or hides (just check whether they are still there before you wipe)

Its kind of annoying getting teleported while sniping or popping a synth tho.

You can't expect everyone to play at your pace, some like to speed run, others don't, that's just how it is.

I was dismantling the last mine as the last guardian standing because everyone died. And wait for it,got teleported to middle of the map. Arc burn + wizards + boomers + self rez = 2 deaths

I was LGS during PoE and ran to revive a teammate whose timer was up. As I was reviving him, it teleported me to the middle of the map into a hive party.

I agree. I hate when they run ahead, obviously in a no re-spawn zone, while I am taking care of enemies. All of a sudden we all die! I'm like WTF? and then I realize they died in the no re-spawn, and now I get a death too....

I don't think that actually counts as a death. I once experienced the same thing but still received the flawless strike bounty :)

If they die in a darkness zone and they are the only ones in it then it kills you as well.

I died once while another died at the end area of archon priest, we both respawned over there but I got the no die bounty

Why else would we spend marks on a fast sparrow and coins for a drive if not to get past that crap?

I agree about the speedrunners. The very worst are the kind my friend & I met today, who ran ahead by himself not once but twice, for no reason at all, and got killed in the darkness, "killing" both of us at the same time. Kiss your Walking Tall bounty goodbye, thanks to a random jerk.

You do realize some people charge forward like that and die on purpose to force you forward... makes what happened likely an even bigger dick move, eh?

I considered that, but having watched how he played otherwise- melee-punching boss Minotaurs, etc.- no, this guy just had no clue what he was doing.

I see, another Rambo wanna-be dick... I swear I encounter at least one of those every week when I do a heroic. Even if they don't do what they did to you, they still charge out there like they are invincible and get killed consistently...
