PETITION TO BUNGIE TO INCREASE DROP RATE FOR TRESURE KEYS OR ELIMINATE THEM
ok this is my case
i am an END GAME destiny player, i did three nightfalls, three heroics and three of each raid a week for pretty much the entirety of this game, and most of my friends are end game players, we didnt really focus on patrol missions or daily bounties unless we were upgrading weapons.
so now we are forced to do patrol missions to obtain treasure keys , so that we can complete the end game and actually get a prize......
so the end game is not worth playing unless i farm non-stop for keys (after several hours of farming ether chests i have received zero keys)
this whole concept is new right now, so it is kind of fun (to those who can actually find keys) but in a month or so, are you really going to want to key-farm for hours just for a shot at an exotic? really?
no im just going to go beat atheon or crota for that same exotic shot, i really want to become a 34 , on all three of my characters, but i do not want to key farm for HOURS just for a chance to get a key that i need for end game activity***

***i now realize that treasure keys have nothing to do with level 34 gear
also i was with someone who got an elder cipher drop yesterday, i have heard that if your bounty slots are full you will lose the drop, not sure if that is true
and the petition worked!!! thanks to all of those who voted, bungie has increased the drop rate of keys and guaranteed 3 keys every week !!!

I got my first key from handing in the 2nd weeks bounties. One key across 3 characters since the start collected (apart from the story line). I'm not farming chests again, Its a BS idea. I would like to see 1 guaranteed key a week for each character apon completion of the bounties or blow some motes of light on them at Xur. Until something changes I wont be farming keys, Do something that's guaranteed not your stupid RNG. Nice work on replacing shards with stupid motes of light for getting a reputation level too. 2 motes wtf.

6 RisposteWhy are people freaking the -blam!- out over keys? The big chest gives queens wrath weapons. Which aren't that great in the first place. And a chance at exotics just like every other exotic loot source. The tokens come from the small chests. And the cores and etheric light are guaranteed when the activity is completed.

I have 15 and don't even own HoW. Damn things are taking up space I don't have. Gonna have to make a 3rd character just to get more.

2 RisposteJust so everyone knows, the two small chests in PoE have a higher drop rate of keys than the other chests from patrol. Instead of grinding patrol, grind 28 PoE in my opinion.

9 RisposteIt's not hard to farm keys all you nee is 3 keys a week one for each char so quit bitching about how you hate doing something that's apart of this game and plus u don't need them keys for a 34 I had 3 34s on week one its all on ur skill level

My opinion is they should make the chest open able once on 28 and then again once on a challenge mode of your choice per week. That way you get 2 openings per character a week. Maybe make the challenge mode have s higher chance of exotic than the lvl 28. Then make the keys like a bonus that you can get to get extra loot :)

Hahahah I was off form work for three days and all i did was farm the FU-CK out off thoes chest for 13+hrs a day and guess what i got nothing, none, zero no key, but i did get a poop load of special ammo lol :(

if you have been doing endgame for that long you have no need to open the treasure chest. the prize you get for finishing 32 and 34 should be enough. if you did 32 last week on all 3 chars you could easily be 34 on all 3 characters this week from poe with out the use of a key. that is 1 light and 2 armor cores per character. arms last week chest this week exotic helm bumped up with a exotic shard and 1 light on boots gets you to 34

2 RisposteI though we were guaranteed 1 a week from Pedro or the bounties... I completed all received none. I don't grind the patrol method like many do, but I've opened plenty. However, I have only pulled 2 keys from said chests to date.

1 RispondiI like the idea of farming treasure keys but the drop rate needs to be increased. It feels like it is about 1% chance per chest right now. Increase to 5% or 10% please.
