PETITION TO BUNGIE TO INCREASE DROP RATE FOR TRESURE KEYS OR ELIMINATE THEM
ok this is my case
i am an END GAME destiny player, i did three nightfalls, three heroics and three of each raid a week for pretty much the entirety of this game, and most of my friends are end game players, we didnt really focus on patrol missions or daily bounties unless we were upgrading weapons.
so now we are forced to do patrol missions to obtain treasure keys , so that we can complete the end game and actually get a prize......
so the end game is not worth playing unless i farm non-stop for keys (after several hours of farming ether chests i have received zero keys)
this whole concept is new right now, so it is kind of fun (to those who can actually find keys) but in a month or so, are you really going to want to key-farm for hours just for a shot at an exotic? really?
no im just going to go beat atheon or crota for that same exotic shot, i really want to become a 34 , on all three of my characters, but i do not want to key farm for HOURS just for a chance to get a key that i need for end game activity***

***i now realize that treasure keys have nothing to do with level 34 gear
also i was with someone who got an elder cipher drop yesterday, i have heard that if your bounty slots are full you will lose the drop, not sure if that is true
and the petition worked!!! thanks to all of those who voted, bungie has increased the drop rate of keys and guaranteed 3 keys every week !!!

I don't want to key farm, it takes hours to get one key so I'm a bit confused as to why Bungie would put this system in place. Currently, we get the rewards from each mode and get keys from the wolves on patrol... instead we should leave the patrol the way it is but each character is guaranteed one key per week to use on any mode they please. I'm not farming, I don't have the time or patience.... Its also pissing me off that if I jump on and have three hours to play my raid peoples don't want to do Prison Of Elders with me because they don't have keys and it won't be worth it. God damnit Bungie, best expansion ever and you still screwed up somehow.

5 Risposteso far this week i have beaten 32 all three times, 34 twice, and 35 once no free key or reward of a key for beating poe from bungie, so i guess patrol really is the only way to get them

Honestly what's the point? After grinding for keys and opening chest, you seem to only get weapons, the same weapons/stats you get from the warden. I think the key is only needed for the three exotic bounties (if they each require you to open the chest) other than that what are you really grinding for? Want an exotic shot, go do the raids (which should be easier now) heck I can do crota hard with an unleveled blue helmet now. The chest simply isn't worth it.

I'm ok with the drop rate. However if it was changed to key fragments and they were awarded for doing anything, including the Wolves public events, and we turned the fragments to Variks for a key, I wouldn't be opposed to it either.

Yea it's stupid you only need keys for 35 you can get exotics anywhere who wants to farm hours for bs queens gear I don't jus give me the cores and etheric light

Honestly right now I don't really care about the keys because the new system. I farmed got 2 more keys saved them till weekly reset used one and got her mercy again I can't justify farming for hours just to get the same weapon already had plus it's summer time.

End game players is NOT a type of player... Lmao.. End game refers to the gear and items that Re top tier and will take you a long time to get... So you asking for things to be easier means you are definitely NOT. What you think and "end game" player is... End game gear should take months to get...

You got a lot of thing to get exotic bounties. Or legend as well. Gorgons chest, it yut, first chest of CE, nightfall.. And also drop rates are increased in activities like vanguard dragon and crucible. The chest of PoE is almost exotic assured. Last week get 8 wins at ToO (only play 1 character 2 tickets) and get the fourth horsemen from the packages. I think that more keys will make you drop the game more quickly than you want

I'm week 1 player and treasures keys are probably the worst thing that has happened to destiny...aside from thorn.

15 RisposteYes bungie do something i refuse to farm for keys. I only play lvl 32 poe for armor core until all my toons are 34 and then I'm done with poe until it's worth my time to play. It can take hours to get through lvl 34 and 35 and to be honest the juice is not worth the squeeze.

Saving keys for the 34/35 chests, not going to open that this week though, can't beat skolas with arc :( Don't need/want any more Queen's weapons so not too fussed about missing out on the middle chest if I have to. The main things are the etheric light and weapon/armour cores which you get whatever

You get E. Light and cores from completing the 32, 34, and 35 PoE, you get 3 E. Lights main it to the 8th round in the trials, also you get light from nightfall that's what you need for 34. Also you have a chance at exotics by killing final boss too. The large chest you get at the end of PoE is mostly Queen weapons. I like the idea I seen with key fragments this way you can get keys but need to work for them but there not RNG.

The only change I'd make is that doing all the Queen's bounties should guarantee one key per week. It'd then be up to the player to decide which level of PoE to use it in. You'd also have to farm for any more keys just like we're doing now.

If you're complaining about grinding, stop playing an MMO. I like grinding, keep the current system

Up the key drop rate, lower the exotic drop rate there, done. Everybody happy.

You should be able to use Tokens of Judgement, Flight, and Identity to purchase Treasure Keys upon reaching Rank 3 House of Judgement. Not enough of a drop rate to properly farm, but enough to the point that I'm not grinding for three hours to get one key. Plus, the Tokens would no longer be useless at max House of Judgement. 1 RispondiIf they increased key drop rate everybody would have every exotic in a couple of weeks, the big chest in PoE has the highest drop chance for an exotic out of every drop in the whole game, more keys = worthless exotics = no point in playing any more because you have everything you want so what's the damn point?

1 RispondiI have an interesting idea for an update. Make PoE rank like Vanguard... never ending. After rank 3, you will get a key every time you rank up. Gives people something to play for. Otherwise, people will get pushed away from the game because the RNG value seems unbalanced.
