With mask of the third man for last bit of crota's end if you have red death that entirely removes the use of orbs regenerate health + you don't want to melee enemies in strikes/raids

It's useful for the first part of the Crota raid. Then again, so is every exotic piece. Anyways, gunslinger with combustion and aclyophage, or bladedancer with Mask Of The Third Man is better. Best is probably obsidian mind voidwalker. Moral of the story: it's usable, but good? Not really in most situations.

Nah it's solely for the Abyss in the Crota raid. A cool effect they should have added along with invisibility is reduced melee damage. Then it'd actually be useful in other places.

It's usefull in a lot of places, I would rank it just behind mask of the third man and simbiote.

Anything other than that and maybe a few other parts of the raid it's pretty much worthless. Is it better than every Hunter Armor? No way! Mask of the Third Man and Achylophage Symbiote are top tier. Lucky Raspberry is supposedly decent. But that's about it.

I only use them for the first part of Crota's end, then switch to mask is the third man for bladedancer or symbiote for gunslinger.

For PvE it's a 10/10 exotic paired with Shadow Jack but PvP I'd recommend Mask Of The Third man or Lucky Raspberry plus flux grenades

Arguably, yep. They fill a niche really well. But Third Man and Symbiote are generally better.
