If you use the truth to take down crota, you're booted.
As simple as that. The raid has been out long enough for you to acquire gjallahorn or hunger of crota. No reason to be using such an outdated launcher.

1 RispondiReported for being an utter detriment to the community. This post is dripping with stupid. I have a Truth, DB, 4ea Fear Launchers, RF, and HOC all at 365. All of which are more than enough to drop Crota. You boot people for using an effective launcher simply because it's not the one you want them to use? I don't get how people like you even find a team in the first place. If you were to pull this stupid shit in front of me or any other decent player you'd lose another player immediately and be reported. You should be banned for a prissy bitch and anyone that reads this should report you.

2 RisposteBollocks... Let ppl use what they want. Iv 2 Man'd Crota. 2 Hits with the Ghally and he is down on his Knee. It's easy enough kill on Normal, so let ppl use what they want. Anything with tracking will be enough. If you have a team of 6 doing it, 5 with tracking ANY rockets will do.

He will go down with any launcher. There's no reason to be using gjallarhorn. Yes, the game is much easier with it, but it's nothing but a crutch. Before you start saying "git gjallarhorn noob" I have two. One fully upgraded, and one I'm honestly about to shard because it's wasting space. The only time you ever need gjallarhorn is when you decide to solo crota, which, since HoW dropped, is a joke anyway, since crota only needs 12 hits to die if you're a 33 or above on hard ANYWAY. Guys like you get kicked from my raid teams because we all know that if one or two people have Ghorn, we can have the other three (two gjallarhorn people, the swordbearer, and three other people) people either keep up on ad control, bring down the swordbearer, keep boomers in line, whatever you'd like to do, hell, even have them shoot other launchers like Truth (because it is a great launcher) at crota. I'm sorry, but if you're using Gjallarhorn exclusively, you need to learn that other weapons are effective, too.

Hell, have one guy pop Crota with the thorn if your having trouble doing enough dps. It's Mark of the devourer stops Crota's shield regen more than long enough to fire another rocket or two. That way even if your on a team of newbies, with all blue launchers, you can still smash Crota. One other thing. Rng isn't affected by hours played. It doesnt give out Gjallahorn or Hungers at some magic measurement of effort put in. There are plenty of launch day guardians without the ghorn. Who've completed the raid a bunch and never been given a hunger of Crota. Who've played hundreds of hours and not been as lucky as us. The truth may be the best rocket they've gotten, and ya know what? That doesn't mean a thing. I kick people for acting like you a HELL of a lot more often, than I do some Christmas kid (or guy with poo equipment), who wants to try out the raid. Because [i]they[/i] can learn to be good. [i]They[/i] can get a few good drops, that turn them into an asset. But folks that boot someone for having worse luck than them? Those kind of people... are what's really toxic to a raid group.

Lol, as a 34 you can practically use a sidearm to take his shield down. But seriously, any upgraded launcher you can actually HIT him with is fine as long as everyone is doing their job. These days, 2-3 people can easily do hard Crota with Ghorns. You certainly don't need 5 people shooting them...

Truth is just fine, it has tracking and three in the tube. How about you learn to play as a team, the problem is not Truth it is you. You probably failed and blamed it on the Truth. I've beaten Skolas, Atheon, and Crota many many times without having to resort the Gjallerhorn. We all had to start somewhere, I didn't have gjallerhorn or Hunger at one point, I had to acquire them just like everyone else, just like you. Could you imagine not being able to get into any fireteam because you don't have those items, how do you get them other that playing that content that rewards them. Gamers like you are what brings this community down. Please change your attitude and learn how to have fun.

The hunger of crota part is understandable, the gjallarhorn part not so much... You don't really need a strong rocket launcher for crota in normal to be honest, a tracking one is recommended... For hard raid yeah, you will more likely to use hunger of crota (rewarded at crota normal) if you don't have gjallarhorn

Have had HoC for awhile, but Truth is a damn good launcher. Not as good, but not enough to boot ANYbody. For Godsake a guy downed Crota in less than 60 seconds, Solo. If would've blinked through he could've done it in half that. Solo. Crota isn't hard enough (especially on normal) for anyone to ever get booted unless they are an @ssclown, or an AFK'er. No disrespect intended, bro. Just saying it's unnecessary to boot a player short of being a b*tch. Then it's understandable.

Acceptable rockets for Crota that I have used/seen used: Ghorn, Truth, HoC, One Way Ticket 000, and Valedictorian 9-44
