Can players be "locked" into a specific loot table?
Since I started running HM VoG a few dozen times, I've only seen 1 or 2 weapons drop, which is fine. What's strange is that I get the exact same thing every single run with only 2 exceptions.

Players can say RNG all you like, but when 95% of your runs yield the exact same things over and over again, you gotta wonder if the game tends to lock players into a single set of items, and eschews the rest.
Does anyone else experience this?

I've been getting Red Deaths and Gjallarhorns from CE and VoG it's crazy.. But yeah OP that's something to think about.

I've gotten several Red Deaths and Universal Remotes.

The RNG isn't completely random. It's like pulling slips of paper out of a hat. Just when you do the raid, those slips of paper increase. Making it more likely for you to get Aspect of Glass.

I know what you mean. Some players seem to have a lot more luck than others. I've gotten Atheon's Epilogue 4 times, Vision of Confluence only once, finally, a week or two ago. Meanwhile my buddy got Ghorn on his very first run, and Vex Mythoclast on his first Hard mode run.

It has to be true because I have only gotten Black hammer from Crota for the past two weeks. I mean there are a lot of drops and the black hammer isn't exactly the easiest one to get.

2 RisposteI've read a theory that each player is assigned legendaries and exotics, and I believe it after 3 Thunderlords and 16278383938 Harm's Ways. Seriously, the game really wants me to have Harm's Way.

That's just an indication of the high percentage drop rates for those items. I thought I had a cursed drop rate a while ago on my hunter, don't worry, it'll turn around.

I think there may be something to this. It took me five months to get a fatebringer from the VoG. Still haven't ever gotten the Vision of Confluence, Praedyths Timepiece or the Praetorian Foil. I get the Abyss Defiant a lot from Crota, but never the Fang of Ir Yut. Can't get Word of Crota or Light from the Abyss either. Something stinks here, for sure!

I've wondered the same thing because I have the same problem.

I this it's true. Until a few days ago the gun I most wanted was Hawkmoon from day one. I did many strikes, Nightfalls, and Raids with nothing in return. I've gotten more No Land Beyonds, Godzillahorns, and Universal Remotes than that gun. I finally got it about 4 days ago so it just goes to show Bungie is in on the loot system in my opinion. RnG has nothing to do with it. Seems fixed to me.

I used to think the same thing man, but this week alone has totally broken that, i have gotten everything I could ever want and more, your gonna have weeks where you get the same stuff, but there's gonna be that one week where your gonna catch fire and get everything. Good luck!

6 RisposteYep, was in the Patience and Time loop for a long time. I had 7 or 8 drop in 3 weeks. Finally got my first Gally about a week ago. Since then Ive had two more drop. Apparently im now in a Gally loop. Ive had terrible luck with raid gear. 10+ plus crota clears on my warlock, still no boots.
