I don't see how the Thorn hasn't Been nerfed in Crucible yet
Honestly it's an Abseloute joke, The Thorn 2 shots, Hell it even 2 shots when you're across the entire map!!!! They say that the Thorn has terrible range, LOL the lies are just hilarious. The DoT on mark of the devourer is just INSANE! People were complaining it was underperforming, and it was, don't get me wrong, but now it's the most overpowered primary weapon in the damn Crucible! I don't care if this sounds like QQ, I want to start having fun in the crucible again and not getting Destroyed by the thorn. Go ahead and say I suck aswell and that I can't counter the Thorn (there is no apparent counter other than heavy ammo but that drops only 2 times a match). I'm actually good at crucible, go ahead and look at my stats. Any response to this poll saying I'm a QQer or terrible at Crucible will be laughed at. To those who are also suffering due to the Thorn, don't be afraid to post a poll of your own about it, the more who post, the more likely Bungie will see it.

Says the person with a k/d ratio in Control of 1.44. If you were really being "slaughtered by Thorn" then it would be a little lower.

Well bungie needs more exotics or beef up the legendaries cuz most exotic primaries are just too good in general usage. It does get dull seeing vex, thorn, and TLW all the time but what isn't dull in destiny

I love my thorn. it's about all I use in crucible. it helps keep suros users at bay. I pop em once, they usually start trying to find cover. I've got plenty of time to find them since...well...DOT and all. it delivers an "OH SHIT IM BURNING" factor with each round. suros is still, imo, pretty overpowered too and I can wait for the next patch. .....ill still take guardians to school with hawkmoon or mida multitool anytime though.

1 RispondiIts amusing but disheartening that all i see on the forums are cries for nerfs. You all act like the certain cannot be beat when all you really have to do is learn how to counter them. Nothing is a ton overpowered and guaruntees kills.

1. It is being nerfed shortly, along with all other hand cannons. 2. The DoT is not insane, they have to be basically dead already for it to be fatal 3. I've used it *and* fought it. It is countered by skill.

4 RisposteI have Thorn and can't believe people aren't raging about how powerful it is. I don't really like to use it, but you better believe if I get killed by it, it is coming out to play. 2 shot kills from across map and easily 10+ assists if I use it. This gun is so over powered I almost feel shameful for using it, like I'm cheating or something. Best thing to do is just get one yourself and use it against other Thorns. Then it comes down to who has better aim, or faster draw.

6 RisposteYup, its a crutch for the weak and the Mythoclast is a close second. I dont mind people using them here and there but when whole teams do, it sucks. I hope the incoming nerfs help even out the crucible. As a note, if you switch from your normal loadout to Thorn or Vex and your game dramatically improves, the gun is broken.

I'm not the kind to complain because I play rather good,2.0 kd, but the thorn is in need of a range decrease and burn decrease. It two shots you across the map lol

The way everyone on this forum complains, I guess Bungie should just Nerf everything. No wait, then y'all would complain about how all of your weapons don't perform worth a damn anymore.

2 RisposteMost handcannons kill in three headshots, thorn [i]can[/i] in two if the poison kills the person before they get health back (orbs/melee perks) Honestly I love thorn, I don't do the two shots and run thing though, I keep shooting until they're dead. Considering how many people do nothing but use fusion rifles the entire match i'd think that would be more of an issue to people.

Thorn is insanely popular it's jsut annoying every match i played there was at least 3 people on the other team using it. If you can't beat them join them! i will be using my thorn only when i play again later today! F**Kers!

3 RisposteYour right you don't suck at PvP looks like your pretty good actually. But please stop asking bungie to nerf $h!+. It just breaks the game even more! When you have supers and perks to armor and weapons balance doesn't exist! It just can't, yeah when your up against multiple people with thorn life tends to get rough I won't argue that at all. And I agree hand cannons have a range issue so maybe they could address that but it's touchy, when they mess with that stuff it can turn a great weapon into an antique that sits in the vault. Yes I use my thorn.. Well I do now it was my very first exotic and it sucked back then! Now it's useful in PvP and even PvE at times. But it takes two head shots to kill with DoT if either shot misses the head it will not kill. And to be honest look at my hunters k/d it will clearly show that thorn does not instantly make you amazing in PvP lol. Again your good in PvP but if thorn is really what is beating you (I don't believe weapons beat people) then your doing something wrong! Every weapon and play style can be beat. It may require thinking outside the box or doing things ways you normally would t! I constantly see people pissed about the vex,thorn,TLW... The list goes on. The guns have PERKS!!! Know the perks know the areas that makes more effective and change your game up to attempt to counter. You can't and won't always win but holy $h!+ it's a game there's no reason it should get to you that much.
