Dumbest reason you had to repeat a nightfall?
Mine would be when i used blink to try teleport through a minotaur(like the scene in the destiny live action trailer where the hunger kills that cabal), and managed to teleport right in front of a minotaur then he bitch slapped me ... while trying to avoid him. -_-

Another reason in had to repeat a nightfall is when i didn't know u had to repeat it when everyone died :p

We were helping a kid get through... He was a 27 hunter... My son got KTO told the kid to to stay safe... I got killed and kid runs out in middle of group to revive me... One shotted... Dang it... Done!

Dying in a different respawn restricted area to the rest of the team, and having to return to orbit.

Forgot I was fire team leader. I died in a bad spot, and returned my whole team to orbit trying to rejoin... Oops!

Don't know my alltime stupid one since I have a lot of them, but today it was thinking I was a sunsinger, activating my super only to find out it was a Nova bomb which then hit the Dreg in front of me and killed me.

Tried shooting a rocket at the nexus only to find a hobgoblin jump in front of me the moment I shot it.. "Guardian down"

Playing with some friends and one went afk to the bathroom and set her headset on her console. Her dog heard our voices and the dog's nose touched the power or eject button (don't remember which) and she was fireteam leader.

All 3 of us died at exactly the same time. - The fireteam leader forgot he was fireteam leader and brought us all back to orbit when he tried to leave/come back.

(Damn Minotaurs + void burn!) then my internet dropped out and we wiped. I learnt to always equip Alpha Lupi. If I hadn't had my don't touch me's on we'd have been fine Also once I joined two people at the archon, in my ship it said last guardian standing, as soon as I spawned the archon 1-shotted me and I died. We went to orbit then the leader kicked me like it was my fault! They would have been dead even quicker without me. [Last week's nightfall was really hard, both of these were last weekend]

Mine was playing th Rockets McDickface nightfall. One guy skipped the first part and went straight to the liutenants without waiting for me and the other guardian to catch up. He dies and since we werent near the no revive area it counted as a wipe

My dog jumped on my lap because thunder spooked him, dropped my controller and died right when my friend did. Was hilarious.

1 RispondiMLG hobgoblin grenade toss, right into where I was sitting and I had no I idea because I was looking down my scope. Like across the map throw kind of deal.

My teammates and I were all shot by a hobgoblin at the same time. -blam!-in line rifles.

Went in with a kill the nexus bounty many moons ago. Killed the nexus. Bounty complete thing popped up and i returned to orbit before the mission was "over."

Me and two friends were doing nightfall two of us (me included) were going to switch characters at the end just before we killed the boss. As I was switching characters I hear oh shit so I ask what happened and my friend who was switching characters said he was firetrap leader a.k.a. He took my other friend to orbit and we had to start over

Two times for the same Nightfall for me actually. Running Omnigul solo got all the way to the her she had roughly a quarter of health left and then poof out of no where I get kicked back to orbit with an error code. I broke the armrest on my chair after that one. The next time I tried to solo her got her down to just a sliver of health and I die, use my self rez (Praise the Sun), run back to the safe room, jump over a cursed thrall all the way to the ceiling and still get blown up. Many tables were flipped that day.

In an Arc damage Sepsis Nightfall, Sepkis was low. I was in the window taking cover while a couple of annoying dregs threw grenades in the windo. I return one of my own and send a lightning Grenade at the window and killed myself Valus strike I knock one of the Phalanx generals off the tower with fist of havoc I look down ready to finish the job. The game magically teleports him behind me on the tower and you know the rest

Fireteam leader died in a bad spot and could not risk it being the last one alive so he left to come back and forgot he was team leader yelled no no no no Too late it was funny and sad he had a sliver of health left.

9 RisposteIDK if it is a dumb reason or not. Farmed Nightfall last night for the Pocket Infinity exotic bounty. I had already completed NF last week, was bored last night, and figured, might as well finish up the PI bounty. Did it 9 times, killing everything, except Hobgoblins at longer range, using Plan C (and, not being very cautious, thus the 9 deaths). So, the reason I am not sure about whether it was dumb or not will all depend on what I end up thinking about PI, for starters, it has a long charge time, and no perks to improve it.
