Dumbest reason you had to repeat a nightfall?
Mine would be when i used blink to try teleport through a minotaur(like the scene in the destiny live action trailer where the hunger kills that cabal), and managed to teleport right in front of a minotaur then he bitch slapped me ... while trying to avoid him. -_-

Another reason in had to repeat a nightfall is when i didn't know u had to repeat it when everyone died :p

Boss fight... I die first... The other 2 die... Somehow I dont get my self rez off in time before it kicks us out... Group dissipates... I felt like an idiot... In my defense there wasnt any mic communication and I wasnt aware the others both died..I was in a weird spot where i couldnt see both of them...

2 RisposteHad a 27 buddy in with my other buddy and i who were both 31s at the time on the omnigul strike. We just had him sit towards the back of the room and watch for cursed thrall and be our medic if need be. Well at some point his gf called him and he went afk without telling us. Omnigul was almost down when she screams, i get caught out in the enemies when they spawned an my other buddy goes down by a cursed. We were like "what the hell man why didnt you say anything?" Silence. We then watched in horror as a cursed thrall slowly makes his way towards my afk buddy even stopping once or twice as if to mock us, before finally reaching him and exploding. As it takes us to orbit and does the "roll" screen my buddy who was afk comes back and says lets hope i get ghorn. He had no idea yet til we all got nothing and we had to break the bad news of his terrible terrible mistake.

I was doing the Omnigul nightfall 2 weeks back and we entered the area full of fallen at the beginning. As we were picking off the snipers, three captains decided to rush us and killed both my teammates. As I ran down the stairs to kill the one captain pursuing me, I was booted to orbit by a Baboon. [spoiler]this happened two more times. We ended up beating the nightfall, but I quickly revived somebody each time I was last man standing.[/spoiler]

I was backing out to switch characters when my teammate was screwing around and he blew himself up with his rocket

Me and my team was doing the omnigul strike we were at the last fight and omnigul had like no health and me and my friend died so the last person in my fireteam tried to come and rev us but before he knew it a thrall came around the corner and killed him while we was reving me :(

I used blind and teleported under a platform that you were not so post to get under and couldn't get out

Two manning sepiks a couple weeks back and my friend dies. I pull out my patience and time to use the invisibility and go revive him, but as I'm venturing out my controller dies... You know the rest...

This morning I fell asleep with my system on and did the Nightfall before I realized that even though it was after the reset, my system still had me marked off as having completed it...

Was soloing the archon and beat him from the snipe spot... Went down to collect glimmer etc... Stealth vandal'd before reward... Rinse, go again... *sigh*

First ever solo attempt at nightfall ages ago on sepiks, was hiding to not get hurt and saw a purple engram roll along the ground. Without thinking I ran straight for it and got bitch slapped by a dreg with light switch. Also the most recent sepiks we got to the first part of the wave encounter and no enemies were there so I was standing at the Thing were you get your ghost out and then they all just appeared. We didn't last very long. And on the last Valus I was solo and my son woke up crying so I hid and put something on my controller to keep me looking around. When I come back I was kicked due to inactivity haha

3rd teammate played it safe and stayed back in case he needed to revive us. We died and went to orbit because he never entered the boss room.

Dudes invited me to join at tthe archon priest to help, but decided to keep playing while help was on the way and both died... soon as I exited orbit. I exited orbit just to be sent right back into orbit.

I ran for heavy ammo cause I wanted to kill Omnigul with gjallahorn cause thats what it took and forgot that cursed thralls are the most cancerous thing ever.

Modificato da xXTheDireWolfXx: 2/10/2015 9:08:24 PMTrying to revive somebody instead of just finishing off the Boss. Basic instinct makes me want to try and revive but I am weening myself of that. Without Burn it is easy to revive so I get in the habit of it but on Nightfalls, weekly and Daily's at 30 the bad guys are just waiting for you to try so they can ambush you. Even better yet usually they are focusing on the dead guy and you can get a few rounds off before they all turn on you so make them count.

I was not even standing next to it either. I guess it has an elemental damage or something but it killed me instantly. That happened during the first month or so of the game coming out. Since then, I shoot the barrels when I am no where near them to make sure I do NOT die when I approach them. OH, another reason... While playing the game I told people I was going to get a drink. They played on and died in the next section. Since I was not in the next section we all died. They could have just waited. Falling to my death on Nexus... Playing through Nightfall and someone joins me while I am entering a new section. No bad guys spawn so I just ran around. Then, all bad guys spawn and shoot at me instantly while I am having a picnic in the center of the area. Sparrow blew up when I ran into a wall. Kid trying to revive me while being shot at by boomers. "I can do it." Darkness consumed you. I am sure there are plenty of other reasons too.

Last week i was soloing the archon priest. I was using the ledge method on the left side before you drop down into the room. I pretty much messed him up with an ice breaker and hunger of crota. Should have been using gjaarhorn maybe. Anyway after i dropped all my rockets and about 8 ice breaker shots into him he had no yellow left on his health. A kinnetic weapon could have killed him. But of course some turd down below had thrown a grenade beside me and forced me to drop down. All the burns were active that week so one hit death from anything. I dont know why or how, but when i dropped down i landed on the side of a rock. After landing on it i got thrown 200 miles per hour straight off the cliff where the archon priest spawns. Apparently i had a missadventure. I should have known those rocks on venus were reverse magnets.
