If you need exp for armor or weapons it's like an extra bounty, you just have to be holding the gear you want to level up when the mission completes and you will get 4875 exp added to the gear. Other than that it's a good way to get the 9000 exp bounty among others. If you don't need mats, exp, or a chance at legendary engram than you are right. It is pointless.

Same.....i haven't done a daily in months

All that daily, weekly, raid, and xur shit it pointless I realized. This game isn't a subscription. I bought it and why would anybody care how long it took me to acquire what I want? This is old subscription shit and makes no sense in a game like this. There's no reason to ever draw out gameplay by limiting ascendant mats to once a day rewards from daily. For the endgame player it's an alternative to strikes, raids, bounties, patrol, and pvp But, why should it be "dailies" when these heroics could be available any time on any mission just like vanguard strikes and you should receive rewards each time. There should also be matchmaking available too.

That is Public Events for me. Most I don't get crap out of, so not much of a point to doing them. Help the lower lvls out, but that is about all.
