The rich would get richer, I only need red death and Nechrochasm, and to be honest with the nerf i really am in no rush to get the Nechrochasm. Trading would ruin the game.
-
No it would be too easy to get everything then
-
I'm not for trading across the entire game all the time. But one trade, once a month. And you can only trade with that person once EVER. I could get Hardlight then.
-
I feel that with trading its a sought for thing when you get a different class item or need a weapon. But people have the excuse of monetization of the game...all games that have trading have this so called problem however its a choice of hoping you get rng lucky or finding someone willing to trade your desired weapon. To prevent this like in other games make exoticsand raid gear items where they cannot be traded. Also instead of constantly receiving the same exotic countless times make a loot roll system where if you dont need it you can pass.
-
Why? You'll get everything eventually. Even if you're never getting that ONE weapon you really want it gives you the reason to play. Trading would take that away. And then people would have everything and then have no reason to play again.
-
No you don't...

1 RispondiNo we don't. Playing since launch and just got my Hawkmoon. Yours will come too young Padawan.

*impatient players* need trading. Have played since release and the fact that I still need Gjallarhorn is keeping the game relevant.

No we don't.

Any dont have any idea how it would work Anytjing good would "bind on pickup" in otherwords you cant trade it. This would also mean only that gaurdian could equip it. No more power leveling. This would allow only certain items to be tradable. In game trading is complex machine. Bungie needs to focus on cheese elimination. With a monthly fee an game econony might be on the budget. If its too simple it would be exploited ( remember they cant even fix raid exploits) thus breaking the game.
-
To make this a good idea, bungie would have to add hundreds of exotics instead of 30

Another point in favor for trading. You don't earn weapons in Destiny. Only two weapons in the game you can make an argument for and that's the Vex and Necrochasm. If you play PvP your bound to see a player who was complete garbage get an exotic. The only way you earn your weapons is from Xur since you earn the Strange coins from weekly heroics. Bungie did a terrible job with this loot system, I think a trading system will fix it. Also there can be many restrictions on the trading system, such as - Exotic for exotic, you could only trade weapons of the same quality. - limit trades per week, ex: you can only trade 3 times a week. - you can only trade with clan members. Also any glitches like duplicating gear is on Bungie, we can ask for trading as much as we want but only Bungie could add it into the game, if its glitched that's on them.

Modificato da A Posed Look: 2/9/2015 1:21:51 PMThe best way to create a trading system is to have each weapon, have trading requirements. For instance the gallarjorn and icebreaker are considers boss slayers so for these weapons you would need 35 raid completions and 150 strike boss kills before you can trade for these weapons. All weapons and armor would have these challenges. Also you could have rep between the actual players and you have to have a certain rep with players to actually trade with them.and your rep would increase with doing things with them such as raids and strikes plus cruciblecrucible.this would negate the money problem.
-
Should have a trade centre like in other mmo's where you can sell off items for a set price and buy items for the sellers set price. I think direct trading would ruin the game but indirect server trading should, in my oppinion run reasonably smoothly. Of course there would need to be a more stable currency that was useful for more things, or the ability to somehow trade with multiple currencies/get currencies exchanged at a trade centre.
-
It's a complicated issue. Trading or fix the RNG

3 RisposteWe do not need trading. The only way to do it without external monetization is total anonymisation (which would feel like you were just buying off a faceless ingame vendor rather than another player) even with a limited number of trades per week you could still potentially buy whatever kit you wanted within a matter of a few weeks. So you may as well just have a faceless in game trader from whom you can buy any item you want... Ie, imagine Xur, but he sells all raid, vanguard & faction weapons, armour & items on top of his current exotic inventory... RUBBISH. Any other way you can imagine it working where I can trade with a specific player is exploitable for real money- the worst cases being the people who offered to sell you that prestige item, took your money and then blocked you and ran away... or vice versa. I know someone would be selling Gjally for $100 over and over again for the first week.

People would sell guns for real money using PayPal.

28 RisposteModificato da Shadow Artiste: 2/9/2015 12:14:19 PMI'm yet to hear an argument against trading that shows how the lack of trading benefits the consumer. It's good for Bungie but bad for players. My idea would be that you could only trade once a week. This would help avoid all the crap that could go wrong.
