We're losing a lot of Gaurdians
So with the recent update of "Weapon tuning" and Xurs inventory lacking heavy ammo synthesis, a lot of Guardians have been posting there" Leaving" thread. It's a sad day... Personally I'm sticking with the franchise until the end. This game has a lot of cons, but it also has a lot of pros. The forums aren't the most lovable place for this game, but I do hate to see people leave.
Edit: Glad to see most of you are staying :P
I'm happy to see I'm also not the only beta players around here :D

I played the beta and play the game almost everyday with my friends who also played the beta and even if it's only an hour or two we play the game and have a good time, of course we bitch about the problems but we bitch because we enjoy the game

Eh. I'm done til HOW. Really pissed it got pushed back seeing as it will have no content yet again. I may get on to do raids with friends but that's pretty much it.

Playing with friends easily keeps me with this game, we had a first to 32 race... I lost and now its first to ghorn

1 RispondiI see a handful of posts by people who say they are quitting and they usually get a bandwagon response in their threads. But if you inspect those people, most of them are still playing. The rare few who actually quit are just here to complain about a game they don't play anymore. I know a fair amount of people who quit, but the majority of my in-game friends still play. One that quit was an avid CoD player who didn't like the crucible. He left when his character was level 8. My cousin quit because he got bored (after getting to 30 and having all the gear he wanted). He does the same thing with WoW three times a year. Another seems to have stopped playing on their Playstation all together. So yes some people do leave, but many will probably come back when HoW drops, at least for a while. The biggest complaints I see are from those who play non-stop and run into a wall where there is nothin left to do. Bungie said we all play way more than they expected us to, so I'm not surprised that some burned out on what content they had fairly quickly. I keep getting close to taking a break. But I'd probably go play something else (again), probably WoW. The last time I was about to quit, I suddenly got Hawkmoon and Monte Carlo within a week of each other, illuminati confirmed. I am so rambling...

Played the Beta, loved it. Still love playing Destiny. Really need to raid. Sticking with the franchise to see where it goes. Intrigued by Comet.

My online list speaks volumes. On Tuesday I have around 110 people online. By Friday it's around 40. And Monday it drops to 10-20. Clearly the content cannot sustain a week reset schedule

1 RispondiLess than 10% of players ever see these forums, even less ever post. A rather large number of "goodbye" post are attention seeking bullshit. (If I say I'll stop using your product then my problems jump to the top of the list, right?) Take this all with a grain of salt. This is a group of the must die hard gamers and fans bitching about things the average player doesn't even know are happening.

I like the game, it's good. But it's also bad. I'll keep playing but as other new games come out destiny will become a secondary game to play.

Its not the weapon update or Xur. It is bungies lie with getting an DLC every 3 months.
