So, this came across my mind recently, why did you chose that class on launch? What made you want to? Because "it looked cool?" Or because it was the strongest? I'd like to know why! (Cause.. Why not?)
I originally went with the warlock, because it was the closest thing to the Mage-like character. (As I always play the Mage :D)
Despite this, I currently have all 3, but will be deleting one for a duplicate for more loot chances etc.. Eventually?
EDIT:-
Thank you guys so much!
I thought it'd be interesting to see different peoples opinion on the classes (even though they don't mean an awful lot in this game) and why you chose your character(s) of Destiny!
"Capes"
"Space Magic"
"Punching Stuff"
-
I picked the Titan cuss I like tanky/ironclad/support/BeatYourFukkingFaceIn type classes
-
I chose hunter first a so barely played it in the alpha and beta. I then played the other classes to see if they where fun and worth playing
-
I chose Warlock at first (this is when I was on Xboxone) but when I switched to PS4 I chose hunter because it looked kinda like a bad ass assassin, I now have all three classes and prefer my Titan (having three Titan defenders in an ROC and punching the absolute crap out of everything is so fun!)
-
I basically saw it as : Warrior, Rogue, or Mage. I always prefer Rogue classes because of their fast movement and fast attacks. Rogue classes are also usually attributed to high DPS and have a higher learning curve than other classes (at least in other games).
-
My first class was a warlock during the bèta. I soon realized a titan compliments my play style better. After the release i made a titan, warlock and a hunter. It took too much time to get my hunter to 30 before the dlc, so when the dlc came out i quickly made another titan and deleted my hunter. True story bro

Titan. Because it said armour
-
I chose the warlock cause it was the closest to my character in kingdoms of amalur. I generally choose mages or warriors so made sense to me.
-
I chose warlock as my first because of space magic. But the hunters golden gun got my attention with the cloak.
-
In every shooter I find myself doing a lot of punching to save ammo. Thought titan would play up to that - then destiny made it impossible to run out of ammo lol.
-
Hunter cos hunter swag
-
I always play the sneaky type, given the choice. Plus, you've got to love thos burning throwing knifes.
-
I love mages.
-
Because the warlocks look so much cooler at the character select/create screen..
-
Hunter is typical me just, the style, the looks and weapons. Just fits me well
-
Two words: Throwing knives.
-
Hunters are the most badass
-
Hunters seemed badass. And I like cloaks.
-
At first I was going to be a Titan, but after seeing the warlocks perks (self revive) I switched
-
I really like novabomb
-
Hunter because agility, speed, and the affiliation with the wolf. Also... I think the cloaks are nice.
-
Hunter because pet Dreggs. Nuff' said.
-
Hunter then warlock then another warlock > deleted the hunter to make a third warlock > then deleted on of the warlocks to make titan then another titan now ( 1warlock , 2titans) then deleted on of the titans to make hunter at last deleted the warlock also to make another hunter as now i got 2 hunters 1 titan and that was my story with destiny -_-
-
I was a Warlock during beta. I liked it, and the early helmets were nice along with the robes. I never once looked at the other classes at the time (everyone in my household chose Hunter during beta and I decided not to pay attention, cause nonconformism!), and continued. After release, I had at the time learned about what gear the Hunter got, and I liked it...I liked it a lot, as scout-type helmets are my favorite. Also, my household chose Warlock...I then couldn't. Yep, chose Hunter because pure aesthetics and desire to not be like everyone else (oh, the irony on the latter).
-
I picked a Hunter for one reason. Agility. I picked a Hunter back in the beta for that reason alone. Speed kills. Thats always been my playstyle.
-
Cloak. 'Nuff said

Modificato da JaggedDemon: 1/29/2015 7:20:49 AMI played borderlands 2 as my first game like destiny and I played Zer0 so much with the crit, sniper, and pistol focus plus with sneaking and all out burst DMG it seemed to please my play style hunters seemed the most agile and best suited for crit focusing plus in the beta one shotting shit was so op and fun lol then I discovered blade dancer and made me happier for sneaking and being focused on rapid burst and linked dmg
