Bad Connection = Reported
If you're going to walk into crucible with a piss poor connection you're getting reported for cheating and bad connection. Sick of dying because people are glitching around the map or not taking damage. It's especially annoying when those people are at the top of the leader board. Bring on the tears.
Edit 1: if you actually read you'll notice I never mention reporting based on connection bar color because I don't. I only report if their is noticeable lagging in the game mechanics of other players.
Edit 2: as some of you have pointed out, I do have a paltry crucible k/d. I could bring it up but I refuse to use auto rifles, fusion rifles, or easy mode nova bomb/ hulk smash. I prefer a challenge and rather enjoy competition. The load outs and classes above provide none for me. Hence I play the way I prefer and my k/d suffers as a result.
Edit 3: all of you reporting me for false reporting do realize reports on B.net and reports in game are different right? By all means continue to as I won't get banned. Just thought I'd let you know.

9 RisposteThere are plenty of people here saying "IT'S NOT THEIR FAULT!". Well, actually it is their fault. If they had enough willpower to work and get an education, then get a good job, then they wouldn't have connection issues. Instead, they prefer to sit at home and plague people with their bandwidth. Doc Brown, I too, will be reporting those with bad connections.

I wouldn't go as far to report people, but there should definitely be a pre lobby connectivity test that if you fail you can't play. Although saying that I could probably run into the same people in a different game and have no issues. The game is more broken than peoples connection.

2 RisposteKnow this....just because they are connected to the game and have bad connection doesn't mean it its their fault. They are connected to the game server that is somewhere in the states or where ever Bung/Acti are hosting their servers. Then they are connecting to others around the states/world and play. Just one server connection problem it stops the flow of connection. Stop getting all upset and deal with it just like the other 3million players. I've worked on computers for a long time and people don't need to spend $100 of more dollars just because of connection issue. You will always have connection issues. The Internet is not 100% perfect, it has problems daily. When your internet goes down and you can't get on websites, you need to reset your router. I pay hundreds of dollars for Internet at my house. So don't complain about connection until you actually know how it works. Thank you have a seat bud, pick up the control, and shut up and play.

You can report them for a bad connection but cheating WTF unless their intentionally making them self lag your just a bastard. PS-if your having so many problems with lag it may be on your end

1 RispondiIn regards to edit2, that's a horrible excuse for not having good k/d. I despise both auto rifles and fusion rifles as neither fit my play style. I always run a hand cannon and alternate between shotgun and sniper. The only time I ever bring out an auto rifle is to complete the IB bounty for 20 AR head shot kills

5 RisposteBungie just needs to make it where if you are lagging, you dont have the advantage. It should be the other way around. If anything, the person with a bad connection should have less shots registering. How it is right now, when i shoot at somone with a really poor connection, i have to lead my shots a lot of time because i know they are actually ahead of where it shows on my screen. This should not be the case.

3 RisposteMy connection to this game used to be fine, ever since xmas I have had some red bar issues. Then I look at everyone else playing crucible and at most I see 3-4 green bars a clash game now.

Actually I noticed this last night. Top 5 players on opposite team destroying us all had red asshair of a bar, then match ends and suddenly all go green. Might be just a coincidence, but I used to play metal gear online all the time, and that game got ruined by lag switchers. Not completely out of the question that people are doing this. I've only just gotten into crucible though so I'm not gonna jump to conclusions, which is why I say it might just be coincidence. Those players were noticeably laggy and rubber banding .
