thorn crucible bounty
Edit: for anyone else who reads this:I'M JUST VENTING FRUSTRATION . that's all.I HAVE NO INTENTION OF GIVING UP ON THE BOUNTY
i'm sure i'm not the first person to express their dislike of this bounty, but i will probably never get this bounty done. me and my friends have this bounty and we are primarily pve players. we aren't very good at crucible at all. for every void kill we get, we get 3 or more deaths. that makes it literally impossible to complete this bounty. i don't understand why we lose points for dieing. for the bad juju it had us doing the exact same thing. but we didn't lose a single point for dieing. also, why does it have to be void damage? the thorn doesn't even have an element. if it was just kills with anything then it would be possible, but its not. the thorn isn't a good enough weapon to be stuck in an infinite loop of crucible. the most i got at one time was 150 out of 500 and i lost most of that in the next 2 matches. please do something about this.

finished the crucible part of the bounty. took forever. the wizard was stupidly easy. don't see why people say that it is difficult. crucible was 100X worse.

2 RisposteThorn is a seriously tough weapon to get, one of the few you actually have to earn. Use a void fusion rifle, i did, had my bounty done within an hour, also play rumble so you never run into groups of enemy players, just one or two at the most, and they're likely too focused on eachother to notice you coming with your fusion rifle. Above all else, stay alive. Even a kill with a non void weapon/ability is better thsn a death so if switching back to your primary and killing the enemy will save your life, then do so. Finally, are you a warlock? If so know that energy drain, grenades, and novabomb, all count towards the bounty. Bluntly put, if you cant earn it, you dont deserve it.

Wouldn't worry about it too much, can't we the gun don't worry it's not the best, got mine in a couple hours (all parts of the bounty) twice and never saw the purpose of the gun other then to be an asshole in pvp, besides PvE is more entertaining

I just used Two to the Morgue. Went to the normal Crucible while IB was going on. So many lvl 20's and below. Did it in 3.5 games.

Have your friends go in with you on a free for all. Party it up and have them run to you for you to kill. Easy peasy

If you can't do the bounty you're not earning it, hence you don't deserve it. I'm sorry, I'm not trying to be rude. Facts. Let's say you're in college, and you do all the work to get a good grade in everything. Then someone comes along, complains it's too hard, and then suddenly they don't have to do the test. Yeah, it's stupid. Edit-prove was once probe, so if you want a laugh read the comment below

If you cant do the bounty you dont deserve the gun. Enough said. I completed it in 3 hours. Its not impossible.

Two friends and I just went into free for all and let each other kill each other until the bounties were completed. #cheesed

I finally made up my mind and did it. If u have atheons u should be ok. Use the perfect balance perk over fieldscout. Spam bullets at people's heads. Another way is void sniper rifle. Praedyths revenge is pretty balanced. Fusion rifle or shotgun works too it all depends on which weapon ur most comfortable with. Play very defensive on clash or control, always make sure to stick around teammates that way u dont get overwhelmed and if u die get least get an assist. Use any void skills u have depending on ur class, if ut team sucks and starts getting -blam!-, leave and find another game. If u start backsliding take a break. Try to at least always have 1 kill b4 dying. I wasnt a pvp person either but i played super defensive and once i learned the maps it was easy. Im doing thorn again.

It works, I have done that bounty 15 times and actually like it lol. Another thing that helps is don't worry about the bounty and keep checking your tally, it will happen. Hell sometimes you can tell if someone is on the bounty and I will look for them and let them get some easy points off me. Really don't give a shit about my k/d. Don't go into pvp thinking you have to bomb rush the bounty take your time and pick your kills. Don't rush into crowded spots unless you have a super ready.

3 RisposteIt's really not that hard, if it was as difficult as so many make it out to be then it would be rare to see in Crucible. But that's not the case as 3-4 people per game have Thorn, this alone leads me to think that people are needlessly complaining because they lack the effort to get it.

4 RisposteEquip void secondary and heavy, play control matches where you have a better idea where the enemy will be found, and don't try to use your void weapons exclusively because you will be killed in situations where your primary was what you needed. Just relax about it, try to kill as many as you can with whatever weapon, and sooner or later the kills will mount up. It took me about 4 hours over 3 days.

1 RispondiThey're just not going to change it, plenty of people have already waded through the shit storm that is "a light in the dark" and to make it easier on anybody else would mean that the same reward others worked much harder for is now available to players who can't/don't want to persevere through that same storm. It's tough, and more often than not, it requires some...less-than-graceful or respectable maneuvers (fusion rifles, shotguns, etc) to complete, but it's worth it.
