I'm wandering what y'all's experience is with running the sword between the different classes. Warlock, Titan, Hunter. Which one does it better or worse?

5 RisposteHunter with bladedancer is easiest, you can cheekily be invisible and dance around on his toes. Titan (my personal fav) is second easiest, as the jump is the best for straight up height, and means you can get onto the platform from damn near anywhere, and also makes getting up to him if he rotates early also very easy. Warlock is the hardest, the lack of speed on the jump has had most warlocks I've seen sword running give up. Self res is useless as you'll most likely get smacked down again! (Note that I said 'easiest' and 'hardest' not 'best' and 'worst'. In all honesty it makes very little difference the subclass you are using. Individual skill and experience is key for running the sword. Anyone can run the sword if they know how, and it's different for each class. Plus the raid boots help immensely!)

My friend mains a hunter I'd say it's best as he can kill Crota in 2 swords if all goes well! He can get in three rounds with the first sword if the timing is right
-
Hunter. By far. Invisibility = max DPS everytime
-
I'd say Titan

18 RisposteWarlock is the worst. Hunter is the best.
-
32 blade dancing hunter is the best class for it

Modificato da Luckdog26: 1/18/2015 1:27:18 PMThere is no worst class. Hunters have the highest speed and can push for 4 hits with one kneel. Titans and Warlocks can both push for 3 max with full agility spec. So basically the difference is 1 extra hit if your timing is perfect. Hunters can use their invisibility to escape harm easily, but if you die from Crota then you were probably being greedy with hits and deserved it.
-
4 RisposteIts by far bladedancers, anyone who says otherwise is a fool. No timing involved, just stand next to crota while invisible. Which means your getting more hits off. Then drop the sword, melee, and your invisible again.

Warlocks. Their jumps are just awful. Although I do have a Warlock and love her because of (Obsidian Mind). Only thing decent is their jump with burst of speed, I believe it's their 2nd augment
-
7 RisposteWarlocks are the worst best tied between Hunter and titan, Hunter use invisibility and titans use weapons bubble
-
Warlocks are fúcking shit cúnts.
-
Hunter the best easily, just because of the invisibility. Titan and Warlock is hard. Titan has the better jump, but warlock can selrevive if things go wrong so no one has to risk it and come get him after the oversoul. I feel comfortable with the warlock jump though so I'll go with Titan as the worst.
-
Warlock. You can adjust the stats but that just doesnt do it. Hunters are the best and a titan with full agility does very well too
-
11 RisposteTitans are slow. Just saying.

Although the hunter has the highest possible level of agility, allowing him (or her) to move away from Crota the quickest when he raises up from kneeling, my crew has been able to take Crota out in 2-3 swords regardless of which class carries the sword. As long as you have the right weapons to take down the shield, and good timing between your jump up to the platform and Crota taking a knee, the class shouldn't matter. Although, I will say that swordbearer's touch does make a difference and whoever is running the sword should have their perks set to as high agility as possible. If all of that is covered, any of the classes can take Crota out in a couple of swords.

9 RisposteThe overall best Swordbearer is a Bladedancer Hunter with Blink and maxed agility. They move faster, they swing faster, they retreat to safety faster. I don't run Hunter really but they have found their place for raids.
-
Best to worst- void walker - Blink blade dancer - Blink Gunslinger - triple jump Titans are all the same Warlocks other jumps are too slow
-
Quick side note have a warlock sunslinger throw grenades at thralls to make orbs for that sword special
-
2 RisposteI run sword with all 3 classes just fine. I don't understand why one class would be better than others? It's like asking which class is better at shooting rocket launchers? It's just silly.
-
Warlock
-
2 RisposteI ran it with my Titan for the first time flawlessly the other night, it doesn't matter about the class it matters about the team and communication
-
skill is need ed
-
They are all easy and good with the sword its up to the player.
-
No one beats hunter because they have the cloak on melee ability, they don't have to run and hide after the first down.
