It's such a good sniper. I would say that it's one of the most crucial guns in the game. Buy 3
The word "earned" is a joke on this forum and it does not pertain to this game. A more appropriate word would be "acquired"

12 RisposteIt took me damn near 700 hours to get the Gjallarhorn and Ice Breaker. I got them both yesterday. Gjally on Deathsinger, IB on Crota. Then Xur sells the IB. Lmao

So we usually have to do something to earn strange coins.....so really using those xur arcade tokens to get something is no different than the random weapon drops. Weekly strike is 9 coins.....engram or weapon drops are random. It isn't like icebreaker is a exotic bounty.

TOTALLY agree. Now that everyone has it no more boomer issues!!! Plus the swordbearer will go down so much quicker with everyone using it!!! One more thing.. This puts everyone on an even scale in terms on firepower... but not skill. We really get to see who the weak link of the FT is now.

there are people who deserve to have the icebreaker, which plays a lot of destiny and still did not get lucky, but others do not deserve it, please stop selling XUR icebreaker.

Yup. Only thing I earned for destiny was the money to go out an buy the game lol. Seriously thou ice breaker is probably more useful than any other weapon currently. I only switch away from it when using g-horn on a boss but as soon as im outta rockets I switch right back

My first exotic drop way back in the beginning of this game was Icebreaker (or patience & time...can't remember but both were close), and I can say that I never use it. During VoG, Praedyths revenge was solid mixed with Aetheon and Truth. For Nightfalls, my Supremacy felt like a better fit, since I could use an exotic primary like Vex. And now that I have black hammer, I still see no need to use this gun. But my gf and roommate want to start using the sword (yes, we have 3 xbox ones in the house), so I will take the plunge and buy this gun while it is available and shard my 300 lvl IB. I have over 100 strraaaange so I might as well. For those thinking this gun is the end all be all or needed in your arsenal, I think you will find it sitting in your vault or inventory, only being used in special occasions. The two times I see myself using this gun will be if I need to take out boomers, and the gap time between killing the witches and going to the crystal room where you have to kill a bunch of knights. Otherwise, my Crota raid exotics will be bad juju for lamps, vex til after witches and suros for crota since it heals.
