Faction Reward Packages
Has anyone gotten anything rewarding out of a faction vendor reward package recently?
Know I don't get them everyday, but I used to get weapons and armor out of them. It seems like since TDB release I've only been getting the commendation, along with "an" ascendent mat, a strange coin, or both.

Well, it seems there are people out there still getting some decent things in their faction packages. It just seems I'm at the bottom end of the bell curve of RNG. Hopefully the rollercoaster will crank me back up the hill soon. Thanks Guardians!

Got a void purifier with crazy range, it's going to be my minataur and pratorian wrecker, have option for armor piercing rounds or send it. Also has rangefinder. Was hoping for accelerated coils but happy with those rolls. Also got red hand last week, been mostly getting shards or energies though

Well I haven't got anything good recently but I remember getting an ldr from vanguard, and a purge fusion rifle from the new monarchy.

Still waiting for any shader from any of the 3 factions ! I have around 20 stupid useless commendations though :)

I would make the same anecdotal observation. A mote or single energy is all I've gotten from ranking a faction for quite some time. I got a helmet the first time I ranked after TDB, but 10 ranks later across three factions, NOTHING BUT MOTES/COINS.

I hate them and have been planning to assassinate their leader. Edit: if I get one more dead orbit emblem as a reward I'm nuking the tower. I will warn my fellow guardians ahead of time.

9 RisposteBungie, Make there more purpose to these commendations, cause I'm starting to stack wayyyyy too many of them. No reason what so ever to have over 20 (let alone 10). I have 0 need to use them to farm shards... an that's really the ONLY other thing to do with them. Thanks Ps. Anyone else agree they're useless after 31? (I understand weapons, but even that's spreading thin)

No weapons or armour anymore. Also not getting materials from Public Events anymore either. Maybe they just dialed everything back.

16 cruicible commendations banked across 3 toons, and no shaders, I think i'm lvl 16+ in each of the 3 factions. I get thing infrequently, mostly the sole shard, so now I'm just banking them for HoW, since i don't need more armor or weapons and the mail is such a great second bank. Save those faction packs and maybe, en masse, you'll up the shader odds!

4 RisposteBeen pretty lame lately. Nothing like seeing two things pop up with one being the commendation and the other being an ascendant shard. Reward? I think not. I keep hoping to get a Vanguard gun with better perks than most of the vendor fare, but getting a gun is not very common.. But, certainly Master Rahool will come through and make up for it with a different legendary gun when I rank up with him. (Cue uncontrollable laughter). Been so rare to get a nice legendary gun, that I have pulled out my Grim Citizen and Vanquisher 300 max auto rifles to use for some variety.

For several dead orbit levels I was just getting one energy and useless accommodation for marks I don't get cause I don't like this games pvp that much to grind it out each week. Only when I get exotic bounties. But last time I got DO gear again, the fate killer boots. I gotta stop leveling up multiple armor load outs but I sure love manipulating my intellect discipline strength levels! Can get just about any range needed for the situation whether it spread out evenly between them or focusing on intellect more or more on grenades or melee etc. Sure do want the shaders though! But for now wearing my Black DO robe, obsidian mind with thrall skin gloves and raid boots(would prefer DO for OCD preferences but like the agility holding a sword perk and higher light level just hate the way they look) We need more emphasis on aesthetics dammit! And uniqueness. If only they applied light to guardians and not gear so I could equip anything and not drop two levels just cause its defense isn't maxed. You know, like any other game!

I've gotten two Nefertiti AK and one Cleopatra AK from NM. Definitely love Cleopatra above all other shaders thus far. Just started working towards FWC. Really hoping for a shader soon and would ECSTATIC if I could get a ship.

5 RisposteJust started leveling up New Monarchy. Hoping for a Vanquisher with field scout. At level 6 right now and have gotten nothing but shards, shards, and more shards. Makes grinding out those daily bounties much more tedious.
