Faction Reward Packages
Has anyone gotten anything rewarding out of a faction vendor reward package recently?
Know I don't get them everyday, but I used to get weapons and armor out of them. It seems like since TDB release I've only been getting the commendation, along with "an" ascendent mat, a strange coin, or both.

Well, it seems there are people out there still getting some decent things in their faction packages. It just seems I'm at the bottom end of the bell curve of RNG. Hopefully the rollercoaster will crank me back up the hill soon. Thanks Guardians!

My last 5 have been shards dead orbit has 4 more rank ups till I give up on it completely.[spoiler]rank 46 have yet to get a shader or ship[/spoiler]

I've gotten The Nowhere shader twice. Venation 3 at rank 34. I also got Babylon 9191 shader from FWC

All I got was Venation III around DO 10 but nothing else. I'm DO 17 now.

5 RisposteJust got a second Amalthea shader from New Monarchy today, Rank 20. Here's my breakdown: Rank 14 - Themisto Rank 18 - Amalthea Rank 20 - Amalthea Very lucky stretch of packages there between 14-20 with three drops. Wanted Nefertiti but Amalthea is my favorite shader in the game so I'll gladly hold on to a second one. My second character is a few days away from hitting Rank 3 with FWC to start getting packages from them. Hopefully his luck is the same as my main characters.

I didn't get anything but ascendant shards and motes of light the last 20 on different characters too

I've received Revenant and a couple guns from DO in the last few weeks as well as Babylon 9191 twice, Carthage 0100, and a gun or two from FWC in the same span. I've been getting pretty lucky. 13-21 with FWC gave me 4 shaders, 3 of them unique. Revenant came at 24 or 25 ranks of DO between two characters.

What's the best legendaries that you can get that aren't raid weapons and what perks are good for them?

Literally nothing but a single shard and a commendation every single time. I just discard all of them now cuz I have too much.

I upgraded all factions to rank three and dead orbit is the one I'm maining in on my titan. Rank 4 so far. nothing good yet. I plan to do the same for my hunter; get all to rank 3 then main FWC and on my warlock; get all to rank 3 and main NM

Opened up 10 dead orbit packages last night that I had saved up over the last 3 weeks (currently dead orbit rank is 35). Was hoping for a shader or ship, got nothing but strange coins, useless ascendent materials and 2 weapons which had bad perks. Kind of makes me want to give up on being bothered to actually level the factions up. There should be more reward here for the amount of time it takes to obtain 10 packages

I just hit Dead Orbit rank 20 and got Hanged Man. I think it looks good with the Crota End raid gear.

I got Crusader I from NM last night and Nefertiti AK (shader) last week.

Got a Dead Orbit rank over the weekend. Got a set of arms, a shard, an energy, a mote of light, and a commendation (four things, making it rain in the hizzay). Don't need them with the raid arms, broken down into shards. Upped the Cryptarch too. Got a purple heavy engram. Turned that in, got the solar Vanguard MG-18 Harms Way machine gun. Not sure if it will replace my Zombie Apocalypse, but after a few upgrades for stability, we'll see how it fairs.
