Glimmer Runs?
Recently started leveling my alt characters again, and boy do you run out of glimmer fast. Between those upgrades, and my exotic upgrades I've ran out of glimmer a lot.
So, I picked up to glimmer runs. One is on the Ishtar Cliffs with all the fallen and vex, mainly using the fallen. And the second is on Mars, don't know the name, but it's the place right before the entrance that leads down to the subways with all the vex. I use these two because they have a high amount of majors/ultras that spawn relatively close to each other. I usually pick up about 3K glimmer in 30 minutes or so.
What is everyone's best or favorite glimmer runs?

Exclusion zone. 25k in 20 minutes if you are quick enough

Basement/subway in the cosmodrome, 3k glimmer in 10-15 min if you know the technique. There are plenty of videos on YouTube if you're unfamiliar with it

Omnigul strike is pretty good. Pop some either seeds and black wax in the beginning then black wax again near the end.

2 RisposteI'm sure everyone here and their mother has already mentioned exclusion zone on the harder difficulty. With good reason. I average enough glimmer/run to make enough for an upgrade item from Xur in 1 use of a Resupply Code (you find plenty of them while farming too, as well as Network Keys that sell for 200 glimmer). 10 yellow mobs/run@ 125 glimmer per kill. Average 30-40 seconds per run, if you've got a groove going.

1 RispondiModificato da improv64: 1/12/2015 3:51:47 AMExclusion Zone mission on mars, kill all but the centurion, die, repeat. 3k glimmer every ten minutes if done right. Usually 1-2 Resupply codes will drop in a ten minute run so you can keep it rolling forever.

Doing the omnigul strike I went from 9k glimmer to 16k in one go

3 Risposte2200+ glimmer every run of the new mars strike. Most gained during last boss fight with several waves of all major type vex units. Plus you usually get more blue polyphages and axiomatic beads during the run. The most ive gotten from one run was 3100 glimmer in 12.5 minutes. I have yet to see any situation that gives more. Shame its only ps4 though...

Mars exclusion zone mission, activate first console, pop a supply cabal thingy, kill both drop ships that come but leave one red guy alive and suicide then repeat. Best glimmer farm in the game. I am able to make around 6k+ in a half hour and if you get lucky with network keys you can make almost 10k.

5 RisposteCrotas soul mission. When all the cursed thrall just keep walking in a line. Don't go through doorway and keep putting on black wax idols. Let them come through doorway then explode for more ammo. This works for killing hive from behind bounty and killing 3 with super 20 times. A few others as well but can't quite remember at the minute...

What Marc just said. You should be able to get the maximum glimmer in about an hour or less.
