My only competititve gaming experience was in Assassins Creed, where I played for a while among the Top 200 players on xbox.
After a while you would only have a few thousand Players playing the original Multiplayer (Brotherhood) so more then often I bumped into Top 10 Players, which had absolutely insane stats.
There was a guy who averaged about 7000+ points, which is in Destiny-Terms around 5000 (on average). I always wondered how this guy got so insane stats, how he kept his stats so clean. He was definitively a very good player, more than often he beat me, but the few times someone else had the lead I noticed that he had vanished from the endscreen, when he was about to loose or not over his 3500 points after half-time he was always gone at the end of the match.
Is this an accepted behavior in the competitive scene, in games which basically have no quitting-punishment?

1 RispondiModificato da XIV_Girl: 4/16/2015 2:48:28 AMIf I see you take A on blind watch I instantly quit.... lawl seeya, enjoy your no-lube loss...
-
I only quit when the competition is not fair. I will stick around for the 7000-20000 loss if it is purely your team running mine over. I do not stick around for players that are (be it intentionally or otherwise) lagging to the point that they are rubber banding, guns aren't functioning properly, character models aren't appearing properly, etc. Also, if I am with a group, I let them dictate when to stay or leave. I don't want to tell other players not to have fun or Joe to play the game. Bungie.

Modificato da TheLoneHunter: 4/8/2015 2:26:07 PMive only rage once or twice and those were times i was completely getting shit on, if im losing but still getting kills with no hope of redemtion because team is bad, then i dance. sometimes others dance with me, sometimes other team dances with me. its a game, not that serious. Fact is im not very good on my own against whole teams and i know this. so i generally stick to rumble/skirmish unless i have a few of my fellow guardians with me.
-
I'm not a great player so quitting because I wasn't winning would be a bad idea. The only time I'll leave though is because the lag is so bad it's impossible to get a kill, otherwise I'll stick it out.
-
1 RispondiI can't stand control Every time I try to play it's usually a stacked group vs randoms who just so happen to be absolute FÛCKING idiots that don't seem to be doing anything, well, other than feeding the enemy easy kills I think the other game modes are better to be honest, if people don't cap in control it's pointless in playing because your score is tied to kills. No capping or no kills is just a waste of my time
-
Why is there no "you quit b.c its too laggy" option? :/
-
1 RispondiI only quit if something in RL occurs. Otherwise even if I suck I will finish the game and then leave. I do not see how one can improve when they do what they can to fix their K/D ratio. Only person you are kidding is yourself and I will deem you not a good player. We all have our off days, but you should be able to fight through that. Claw back those mistakes you made. Besides you would need to have a horrendous run of multiple matches to truly affect a decent K/D ratio.

Ac brotherhood multiplayer was soooo sick i played it with my friend and i swesr bein on defense was more fun If u gotbunity hit me uo maybe join my clan gt is same
-
I'm average at PvP, but I won't ever quit.

Modificato da Bryanesie: 4/8/2015 1:15:58 PMYou get rewards even in a loss, so why quit?
-
4 RisposteThat 1% is bullshit. All these -blam!- in the forums going on about KDR not only do it, they waited to even START PvP until fully geared. Levelling in crucible? Of course they didn't. Not to mention, only queuing as a fireteam, and leaving vs other fire teams. Here's some truth for ya... The emotionally crippled little -blam!- in here with a 8+ KDR take great pride in telling you they did the opposite of what I just wrote. Don't believe the lies.
-
In team-based game modes, I generally try to keep quitting at a minimum, since it is unsporty and kinda makes you a dick. Sometimes, though, I get a little too frustrated with a game. These are uncommon occasions, but if I can't recover from them, then I have to quit. It would be even less sporty to stay
-
I'll always stay to the end regardless of if I catch on to any shenanigans going on with the other team (lag switching, etc.). 50% of the time I play crucible solo queuing with complete randoms so I don't ever expect it to go well to begin with. Still get good rewards sometimes regardless of turnout :)

I'm going to start quitting the Ishtar academy map. It Is far to small. It used to be a fun intense experience now it has been ruined by scrub Lords. Ie regular crucible elitist douche bag teams who think it acceptable to mob spawn points all game. You are all diabolical you have to spawn mob people cause you can't have a fair fight. I literally keep spawning to be surrounded by nearly the whole opossing team. These regular scrub elitist just ruin crucible with coward move after coward move. Multiple titan bubble being one of the many. Remove the Ishtar map it has been ruined by your toxic pvp only players bungie.
-
If it was a multi player where I cared about my stats I would quit out if I was getting owned. But crucible is so trash I just stay in and act a fool. If nothing else you might be missing a decent drop by quitting out.
-
I stayed in a match where it was me and someone els against the other team i played one of my best matches and got the PLAN C after that i never quit.
-
I only quit when I have lag, so I don't mess up other players.
-
I once had a match that was 5070 to 110 and my team lost but I stayed in the whole time. It was skirmish
-
85% of the time my crucible matches end in weasel 15% of the time I'm just like well I haven't gotten weasel yet so Ill just finish
-
Only ever quit when going up a full fire team and they're absolutely stomping me...as in we all finished with a total score of 2000 something.
-
I carried a team for couple of matches but only because the enemy team was really bad too. Usually I quit from the lobby if my team loses bad.
-
I will only quit if I like have county's for crucible and I get into the middle of game losing by 5,000 points
-
1 RispondiWhen playing a team game, I rarely quit. But I most often play rumble, and I quit more frequently there. I quit because of a few reasons, if one team is using the same weapon (all Suros, all thorn, all red deaths) If 2 or more players are abusing there special weapon If more then two people are using the vex
-
I only quit when the lag is unbearable.
-
1 RispondiI will refuse to quit a match I start. The only time I will quit matches is if you get thrown in the middle control match for example where your team is losing 16000 / 5000, the other team has all the control point and you only have two other teams mates.
-
Well i think people leave matches more often because of bad latency. I'll be honest, i have been rage quitting myself because of bad latency and maybe 3 times when my team have been full of newbies and opponent team a full fireteam great players.
