New Dead Orbit World Record?
Hi, I'm CharlieKyle. After reaching Vanguard Rank 3 it was time for me to venture into the world of factions. I dabbled in the New Monarchy up to level 3 and decided since I could get all of their armor, it was time to move on. Hello Dead Orbit!
Dead Orbit and I have been together forever; I'll level up every bounty every day, they'll give me a sniper rifle or hand cannon upon faction rank ups. This is nice except one of the reasons I picked this faction was to obtain the SUPER SICK REVENANT SHADER!! IT'S SUPER SICK AND REVENANT-Y AND ALSO A SHADER!
EXCEPT I HAVEN'T SEEN A SHADER YET! NO REVENANT, NO BITTERSTEEL, WHAT GIVES?
I know what you're thinking; "This guy is level 15 Dead Orbit at the max and is crying that he hasn't 'earned' a shader yet."
That would be correct, except that as of this morning I'm now A LEVEL 27 DEAD ORBIT SOLDIER. I remember saying "if I don't get the faction shader at 15, I'll do a different one."
But something keeps me going, maybe the next level up will give me one! That's totally worked for 27 GNIKCUF levels, right?
So my feedback minus the long story is this:
Perhaps make a faction level where you are guaranteed a faction shader so people like myself aren't REPEATEDLY LET DOWN EVERY OTHER DAY.
If that's too much to ask, then make the RNG system have like a guaranteed good thing happen every 20 rolls or so. I am beyond frustrated with this, and want to at least be acknowledged as in-the-running for "World's Highest Faction Level Without Receiving a Faction Shader." at Dead Orbit 27.
TLDR? I'm a dude whining about having level 27 Dead Orbit and no Dead Orbit Shader. Thanks for your time.

Dead Orbit rank 35 now... Still nothing. I even tried taking off my shader entirely so maybe they'd feel bad I don't have one and give me theirs... No such luck. Bungie, I am ENTIRELY too frustrated with this.

Currently Dead Orbit rank 40 now, with of course NOTHING TO SHOW FOR IT. BUNGIE WHEN WILL THE TORTURE END?!

I had to stop playing. I couldn't take the repetition of the game, knocking out the same bounties over and over to get rep for my faction, with not a damn thing to show for it. I'm rank 48 Dead Orbit. I think I'm depressed. Bungie, why?

I love reading some of these posts like level 6 now no shader wtf Most people who say this 32+ no shader have all the levels shared over multiple players from my experience

I have a friend whom is dead orbit 74 or 75 he has all shaders x2 but no rev I am 18 dead orbit revs the only one I have (he hates me) it will come, one day

I have at least 50 levels of dead orbit between my characters and just got revenant on my latest rank up. It will come!

6 RisposteTry leveling your warlock with Dead Orbit. I got Hanged Man at rank 12 l and a friend got Bitter Steel at 12 and Hanged Man at 16. I think Dead Orbit hates Titans.

Im sorry you haven't scored a shader yet, but I'd be lying if I didn't say I don't want you to get it. Your update edits were hilarious. Good luck buddy. I'm gonna check back in to see when you finally catch the Holy Grail of shaders. My feedback to Bungie...level 30 should be high enough to let someone choose what their reward is. Give us 3 options and then we can't complain.

Sorry Bro. I have been grinding roc strikes/cryptarch for a God of War shader for a while and I have combined over 150 cryptarch and no shader... They shouldn't leave everything in this game to RNG

It's still rng it will eventually drop for you some people get it on there 5th rank others 100th

im in the same boat, dead orbit rank 22 and no shader at all. I have every other item that they offer multiples of them but no shader. very frustrating

3 Risposte[b]Ideas for faction reputation rewards (maybe other stuff too).[/b] -After getting a reward, the chance of receiving that reward again resets to a base (lower) value -rewards not received increase their chance to drop until they drop -every 8 or more consecutive low grade drops, your chances for rewards are randomized -every faction level divisible by 10 resets reward drop chances to base (lower) values (overrides previous point) For those that may wonder as to how all the chances can increase or decrease at once, this is under the assumption that if the total is over 100% then there is a chance for multiple rewards. [i]here's to hoping for solutions to the current reward system problems[/i]

Yeah the faction rewards system is friggin stupid. It should be a tiered system and not RNG. I'm at level 32 in Dead Orbit and still no revenant shader. In fact I've gotten a shard/energy with crucible mark for the past 9 levels. Just another in a long list of WTF decisions.

2 RisposteI received The Nowhere shader at rank 20 on my Warlock and am rank 31 now and haven't received another one yet on that character. My Titan and Hunter are around rank 10 to 15 and I received Revenant today on my Titan. I bought and equipped the 2nd mark of Dead Orbit for my Titan before opening my package from them and there it was...Revenant. I'm not saying that having both marks gave me the shader. But I seemed to be having bad luck with the packages until then, but only later level-ups will tell.

1 RispondiDead serious the game knows when you're hunting something. Here's my experience: Fatebringer: Did Templar so many times I didn't care anymore. Boom. Fatebringer. Word of Crota: Did so many Crota's End raids got 9 fangs of ir yut, gave up. Boom. Word of Crota. Bittersteel: Gave up on caring about faction shader. Boom. It's just sitting in my postmaster because my shaders were full. [u]Not caring WORKS[/u]
