This thread is really allowing me to see just how boring some guns are. OP skill trees seem to be a staple. That or they're just flat out goofy.

Exotic Sidearm- Tha Gangsta Solar Guns Blazin (Upgrade) Kills with this weapon grant bonus glimmer, and kills with this weapon grant you bonus armor, stack three times. The armor is not op tho Bank Heist (upgrade in the same tree) Kills with this weapon grant you invisibility for 5 seconds, grants bonus agility that stacks also. These two upgrades are in the same tree. Kinda like Boolean Gemini, so you have to choose between the two. Middle tree: Extended mag (12bullets in mag to 20) Hand loaded (more range) Snapshot Passive (permanent) holds gun sideways like a gangster does

Chasing Dawn "Don't get things confused. Dawn is chasing you." Exotic perk: Ward of Dawn stays with you as you move. (With the other perks in the defender tree, I feel like this would make for awesome synergy.)

Exotic sword- Taken ( the raid perk) Soul harvester Even the vilest of creatures do not deserve this life, free them through the path of death, it is the only way- possibly Eris Morn, not confirmed. Exotic perk- Servants of the dark- taken enemies killed with this sword have a chance to drop a "grateful soul _______" (fallen, vex, cabal, hive" which, when released, will cause you to summon an event on your planet where any enemies of that race near you will show up in your next Kings Fall raid and fight for you until they die.

[spoiler]note that the wasp perk has poison starting at level 1 and increasing to a max of 7 and the bee gives off a level 5 poison effect that doesn't change.[/spoiler] The weapon itself has the frame of the red death but without spikes. Step 4: talk to Eva levante and buy 2 weapon shaders, each costing 4500 glimmer and 2 motes. Talk to Eva again to advance. Step 5: get 15 head shots in the crucible with the plated pulse rifle within 3 games.* Talk to the gunsmith. He will unlock the mission 'Perfect painting' Step 6: Once completed, you will obtain a painted pulse rifle. Return to the gunsmith to advance. Step 7: Complete 5 vanguard strikes consecutively without dying. Return to the gunsmith to advance. Step 8: head to the blast in patrol and kill the ultra wizard, Vekeron, the stinger. She will deal solar damage, be level 40 and apply a poison effect in a small area around her. Killing her will grant you the stinger of souls mission item and allow you to continue the quest. Talk to Eris to cleanse the stinger, this will take 30 mins. Once done, bring the stinger to banshee to continue. Step 9: go to Venus and kill an ultra cyclops, Xernon, the resurrective mind to obtain the spark of second chance. Speak to the gunsmith. He will tell you he's almost done, but needs one more thing. This will unlock a taken version of the Devils lair, which is 300 light. Completing this will get you servitor plating. Return to the gunsmith to claim your reward, The wasp.

Quest: [spoiler]There would be a very small chance to get an object called "Taken Butterfly" whenever killing Taken. When you get it, it wouldn't be added to your inventory, but a quest would appear. "Ivy's Curse A tale of envy, and a kingdom long forgotten." Objective 1: I found a strange object, a butterfly that was Taken. It didn't attack me, but maybe it could be used to research the properties of our foes.. If anyone would know it'd be Eris.. 1: Talk to Eris Morn You must go to Eris, and she will tell you the following; "You were wise to bring this here.. Let us put things to work. Bring me Orbs of Light and Darkness, so that I may purify this creature." While the mission is active any Orbs generated or picked up are added to the quest, instead of being generated or picked up. You need 40. Orbs of Dark are generated when an enemy activates an ability, like a Knight's shield, or Captain's teleporting. Again, 40 are required. You then must return to Eris. "Good.. The butterfly is purified, it worked. Take it with you Guardian, and bring me the essence left behind as you purify the Taken." Reward: Common shader; Ivy's Butterfly. It makes you black & white, including all guns & abilities. It cannot be trashed. You now must kill 3 of each type of non-boss Taken. When you do, they return to their normal forms, at level 40 and must be killed again. Completing this will make you return to Eris, where she will make you kill one more of each. This will loop indefinitely, with no reward, unless you wear Ivy's Butterfly while killing them, where you get a guaranteed drop called "Taken Dragonfly". You bring it to Eris, and she purifies it, and sends you to Ikora. "I will make good use of this essence, Guardian.. Now go see the Vanguard.. And take your new.. Pet." Reward: Common artifact; Ivy's Dragonfly. Resist Ivy's Curse. It must be worn to continue the quest, along with Ivy's Butterfly. Talk to Ikora "Guardian we- That energy.. You're radiating the same energy we've been detecting across the Cosmodrome. Well, you should check it out, then. Good luck." Complete mission: In the Name of the Queen You will head to this mission on Earth, where you will look around Skywatch, until you reach the array, where suddenly everything will go black & white, and a voice will talk. "So it's you who kidnapped my little darlings! Well, darling, you're gonna pay for that. Dearly." Suddenly a bunch of Taken will be summoned, the conclusion wave having 5 Taken Wizards. Upon killing them all the voice will talk again. "Oh.. You're strong. How irritating. Well, I guess I'll leave here alone for now, but I will get my little darlings back, eventually.. Guardian." Then color will return. The twist with the fight is each time you kill an enemy you'll get a stack of "Ivy's White Curse" which lowers your max health. Removing either the butterfly or dragonfly will give you 3 stacks of "Ivy's Black Curse" slowly draining your health. Reward: Common class item; Ivy's Jewels. No effect, but required to continue mission. It puts a line of rubies running down your chestpiece, and 4 dragonfly wings on the torso. It will protect you against an extra three stacks of "Ivy's Black Curse". Talk to Ikora "It's stronger this time, Guardian. Head to Mars, and stop it again.. Or I'm worried just what it might do." Complete Mission: Monochromatic Heart The mission takes place in the Black Garden. It is much like the base Black Garden mission, but filled with Taken. Upon reaching where the Heart used to be, a large butterfly will be in its place. Suddenly the butterfly will explode, and everything will be black and white, again, and the voice will speak. "You're following me? That makes it a bit easier on me, I suppose, as now I can just kill you here. Bye bye, my darling." You will be attacked by a huge squad of Taken. At the end you will fight two Taken Ogres, along with several strong enemies. Upon killing them the voice will sigh. Reward: Common Primary; Ivy's Curse. Replicates currently equipped weapon type. No special effect, but is fairly weak, while providing complete immunity to both of Ivy's Curses so long as all four items are equipped. Return to Ikora "It's gotten worse, Guardian. While you were gone the energy appeared on the moon, and Venus, and we have time to send you to neither. The strongest, and most concerning energy source is here, in the City. Go stop it." Complete mission: Overthrown Removing any of Ivy's items will instantly give you 100 stacks of Ivy's White Curse, and Ivy's Black Curse, instantly killing you. You will start in a black & white city, fighting Taken. The Traveller will be directly overhead. As you go through the City you will eventually find a gravity lift that seems to be leading to the Traveller. Before actually reaching it you will suddenly appear above a black & white Hellmouth, and fall down into Crota's End. You will get stacks of "Ivy's Butterflies" instead of "Weight of Darkness" for being in the dark. Each stack slightly clouds your view by adding butterflies circling you. 10 stacks will kill you. The lamps will get rid of the stacks, and do not explode. There are no thralls. Upon walking through the light door you will be back in the City, fighting your way back to the lift. You will get closer to the Traveller this time, but still be teleported, this time to Taniks' ship. There's no fighting, but you have to find the keys to get to the end. Reaching Taniks' room teleports you to the City one final time. This time you get really close to the Traveller, but are teleported into Atheon's throne room, where a woman stands at the edge of the platform: you walk up to her, and she starts talking. "Wait, wait, wait, wait! You don't need to hurt me! I only tried to kill you because I thought you were trying to kill me, but let's just lower our weapons and talk! I will make everything get all its annoyingly colorful.. Well, color back, in exchange for getting to live in your Tower, deal? No? What if I throw in a fancy sword?" The mission then ends. Reward: Exotic Sword; The Curse of Princess Ivy Ivy will then relocate herself to the Tower, where you can buy lengendary versions of her Butterfly shader, Dragonfly relic, Jewels class item, and Curse primary.[/spoiler] Exotic: [spoiler]The Curse of Princess Ivy Sword "There is a knife for you. It is shaped like [I will take you with me]." Appearance; this "sword" has a hilt that appears to be a black & white dragonfly, and a blade made of black & white butterflies. When blocking, the butterflies surround you. Standard sword perks. Exotic perk: "Enemies who hit you while blocking will gain a stack of "The Curse". Notes: It is Kinetic. It deals 2/3 as much damage as a normal sword. It blocks next to no damage. "The Curse" drains an opponent's health for 10 seconds. This does not stack, but can kill a full-health Guardian. Though enemies shooting at you while blocking are guaranteed to die, you will most likely die as well, as you take pretty much full damage. Grimiore: Ivy hails from a kingdom long ago, though she was exiled for trying to overthrow her sister. The Taken seemed to have abducted her then, allowing her to rule over them, should anything happen to Oryx. She claims however, that they never Took her, and that she lost control over them. But we wish to remind you Ivy, there is a knife for you, awaiting your return. It is shaped like [you may rule us].[/spoiler]
