best story ever in a video game. Go!
Mine is Bioshock Infinite. Never been so immersed in a game. Felt like I was living it. There is a ton of actual story and a ton of voxophones (audio diaries) that expand it even more so. The characters are great too. Not to mention the two story based DLCs will blow your mind almost as much as the original story itself. In fact the second dlc wraps the entire bioshock series up which is quite rare of a thing for a DLC to do. Highly recommend buying it cuz it is so cheap now. Or at least watch a full YouTube play through from someone like theradbrad

Mass Effect, yes the end was meh but as a whole those games had a great story with alot of [b][u][i]IN GAME[/i][/u][/b] lore that wasn't forced on you but you had to explore to find it. Also there was alot of hidden cutscenes that you wouldn't find unless you did things in a abnormal way

1 RispondiI'd say Jak II has one of my favorite story lines ever. Everything is so different and unexpected. Spec Ops: THE LINE tops my list though. Greatest story ever. Although it's also the most messed up game I've ever played. You have to make A LOT, of really tough choices..
