Hot Fix 1.1.0.2 Helmet drop introduction - what about us that did our raids today?!?!
So without any kind of warning Bungie are patching the new raid helmet into the crota end loot table which i now assume means the hardcore raiders who smash out 2-3 raids upon the Tuesday reset will miss out for a week at any chance of having a helmet drop.
Deej you say you are always listening - that is just terrible community management. This patch and what it entails wasn't just developed today - you knew what what was coming and some prior warning that raid helmets would be patched into the normal mode would have been appreciated so that hardcore raiders wouldn't rush to finish it.

I agree, but an exotic helm is probably better anyway. One less piece of gear you need from the raid and exotic helms usually provide the best perks. You can always delete your characters and re-level them if you want to do it again.

I thought you were just getting your raid in before the hotfix so you could delete your character and then go complete the raid again though, right?

... I don't think it's too big of a deal... U probably can't upgrade them anyway. But I feel like some changes, maybe like this one they should of given us forewarning saying hey wait till patch comes through then beat Crota... That's called being polite bungie, an caring for your community.

I kind of agree with you. Bungie never tells us anything beforehand. Oh sweet, lvl 30 gear from IB. Two weeks later it's already obsolete. Oh nice, we can buy mats to upgrade all our exotics lying around. Two weeks later, well we have to reupgrade all that shit. Just now, some people did the raid, or part of the raid, this morning. Oh, you should've waited, we were just going to introduce helms in the loot table! Feels like they're mocking us...

4 RisposteMy eirk is not with the fast patch or the helm dropping on normal. But with the games raid system. It's slowly getting to the point were all the gear is shifting to dropping in both modes. At what point will hard mode be un-needed?
