Is the seraphim complex mission too hard?
Is it just me? I'm finding the part of the seraphim vault mission where you fight off wave, after seemingly endless wave, of enemies damn near impossible to solo.

yes this is a necro,, i just got the game and am on this fight, yeah its great you all can solo this at lvl 30, but its a lvl 12 story quest, and the description says fireteam 1-3 players, if i cant solo this at lvl why does it imply that i can? im currently a lvl 14 titan striker with 76 light.

I wouldn't say it's hard if just say it's poorly designed. Over running the player with bullet sponges is not really challenging it's just frustrating.

I think at daily heroic level 30, with the angry modifier, was a bit much. My highest toon is still only 29. I gave up after about 7 tries and many wasted ammo packs. Why not grab a friend to help you ask? They have all but quit because of the expansion that wasn't. +25 tears collected by Bungie. After that I went to the tower and while dismantling the greens I accidentally destroyed my corrective measure. This concluded my destiny experience for the day. +50 tears collected by Bungie.

no soloed every mission on tdb. wasn't too hard it's just more like horde mode mission than the ones we're used to.

Not at all - first time I did it I died once - lesson learned and I've yet to die again. It's fun, can be a challenge (weapons) but doable no problem.

Learn the spawns and leave surprises for them when they arrive.

It's easy. I just stay behind the platform with the computer and run side to side killing everything. The other thing is to smash the ground with a rocket where the green ball enemy spawn points are. Finished the rocket bounty easily there.

After checking the console, I hauled it back to where you first come in on the left side, if you were facing the chamber, and used the pillars as cover, stairs to bottleneck the thralls. Knights always stay on the main floor. Chase Omnigul away, then bust out a Solar Sniper. Solar FR just doesn't have the range you need. Priority in every wave is the Wizards, since they drop the vestiges and can block off any escape. Rinse and repeat until ogre. Once the ogre spawns, the left side becomes a spawn point, so you have to bail from there, all the way around to the other side to finish things off. This also kites the enemies, so they aren't slamming you all at the same time. They chased me into the tunnel under the console, so I wouldn't recommend it. BUT, there is a dead ghost down there. That's my story, I'm sure there's others.

Just focus on the Wakers of Crota first, stopping them from creating the green glowing circles on the ground will lessen the amount of adds that spawn with each wave.

It's not hard I cleared it at 30 on hard then again today for the daily just gotta find a spot to protect so you can take out the thralls then wizards or knights and the ogre at the end

Yeah, it's very hard. Too many spawns at once. Jumping on top is the only way I could get through it solo, and even then, they all congregate under you and you have to keep jumping down to fire at them.

You can get up on those cables above you. And onto the big computer thing. Its out of sight from basically everything. I just jumped down onto the cables, shot some stuff, and jumped back up. [spoiler]There's a dead ghost up there too.[/spoiler]

Did I almost die playing the lvl 30 heroic mission? yea, but I did not die because I moved when I needed to. Its not hard you just got to develop a plan that works. would not be fun if it was really easy now would it?

Left hand corner until the ogre and then move to the central console to duck and cover :) its not so bad
