NERF THORNS POISON ABILITY!
Bungie, do you even test your patches? You literally [u]do not[/u] think through gun buffs and nerfs at all. You need to nerf [u]just the poisons[/u] damage by at the very least of 50% less than what it currently is or have them decrease the amount of time the poison deals damage towards you in the crucible. Either that or change the name of crucible to ThornWars, because it is over powered and over used now thanks to your devs who probably have never even played through the game extensively. Think before you patch. Test before you patch.

I had thorn the second week of Destiny's release and the poison effect was never this powerful. Now let's stop all this hate and discuss this constructively.

You're wrong, the poison was always 7 per tick. They "accidentally" nerfed it severely when IB came around. It's just that the Thorn as a weapon has been improved so you're getting hit more and that means the poison is more likely to finish you. Source: A guy who came in first overall with a score of 7000 and an 11 killstreak using only a Thorn pre-IB nerf, mainly with poison finishes.

Its only noticed now that its good cuz ppl just started using it.....the DoT is the same as it was before they "accidentally" nerfed it.

Poison was 7 damage for 5-6 ticks. With the IB patch it was shadow nerfed down to 3 for 3 ticks, this patch only put it back up to 7 again. So if you had it from week 2, when did you upgrade it to get DoT? Because it's the same as it was when the game launched >.>

2 RisposteIf it makes you feel better I agree with you, me and my buddies were playing Skirmish and we got up against a team where all 3 guys were using a maxed Thorn. We still won but that thing does a RIDICULOUS amount of damage.

Can't figure out if I posted right BC I can't find it but sorry if double post. Are you claiming bungie ghost buffed base damage? Because their patch notes stated they only buffed the dot effect against pve enemies. Other than that it was reload speed and stability? Behold thorn in its pre-patch glory. Thorn has always been 7 dot in crucible. They just made it not have a shitty reload and a shitty magazine size so now it is a gun that is worth using.

The poison has always been the same, ur an idiot. The only time it was weak was last iron banner and somehow they accidentally nerfed it. So nobody agrees with u, so that means the community sucks? Holy crap dude u have a serious messed up mentality. Ppl arent always gonna agree with u in life. Plus nerfs just f it up even more for the pve players and r tired of their guns becoming weak.
