NERF THORNS POISON ABILITY!
Bungie, do you even test your patches? You literally [u]do not[/u] think through gun buffs and nerfs at all. You need to nerf [u]just the poisons[/u] damage by at the very least of 50% less than what it currently is or have them decrease the amount of time the poison deals damage towards you in the crucible. Either that or change the name of crucible to ThornWars, because it is over powered and over used now thanks to your devs who probably have never even played through the game extensively. Think before you patch. Test before you patch.

I had thorn the second week of Destiny's release and the poison effect was never this powerful. Now let's stop all this hate and discuss this constructively.

If you really have had the thorn for that long, and used it, you should know that the DOT in PVP was nerfed... sounds like the one that should be testing his weapons more often should be you.

The damage in crucible is that same as it was before the patch. All they did was give it more rounds and faster reload. Most of my best crucible scores have been with thorn, pre patch.

Its an exotic weapon, arguably the hardest one to get. The whole point of an exotic weapon is for it to be better than 99% of the weapons in its category and to a lesser extent the game. Are you going to complain about the Vex Mythoclast as well? These weapons are fine the way they are please don't screw this game up any further because you scrapped the gun, don't have it, don't know how to fight back, or don't know how to use it.

There is nothing wrong with the thorn it still take 2 headshots or 3 body shots in PvP to kill you, so calm yourself the gun got the buff it needed

Did you know the lingering damage was only buffed in PvE? It is unchanged in PvP.
