Expansions 3 and 4
The first expansion is nearly upon us and we already know a little about the second. So time for some random speculation on what future DLC will contain.
Expansion 3 (ideally summer-fall 2015)
Focus on Cabal with a Mars raid. The Cabal are sending reinforcements after our previous attacks.
A new vehicle type added to Crucible with the new crucible maps.
A new tier of strike playlist.
Of course a strike or two and new story missions.
More Crucible play types.
Expansion 4 (ideally fall-winter 2015)
Expansion focusing on Rasputin the Warmind. Story builds on all 4 enemy factions fighting to learn his location. Culminating in a raid on Earth to recover the A.I. before anyone else can.
New enemy themed shaders.
A vertically themed crucible map amongst other maps.
More clan functions.

Apparently we know where Rasputin is now. Kinda underwhelming but what's done is done. I do think a expansion focusing on Rasputin and all the factions fighting for it would be interesting. There is a lot of emphasis on its importance, it should have some story development and climax.

I hear rumors that the next expansion will be with the cabal as the enemy and there will be a new social space and a new raid. Is this true

Do you think it's possible that the third statue in the mission where you kill orynx I think it was Nokris is the brother of Crota and a reference to a future DLC

There was a leak way back when that suggested expansion 3 would be vex void featuring praedyth and expansion 4 would be forge of gods featuring the cabal. This leak has credit because it suggested there would be a major expansion in the fall that said there would be a new patrol zone on a hive ship. Bungie confirmed that you could patrol the dreadnought in the vidoc. The leak has credit and that is my source.

15 RisposteThere is no destiny 2. Confirmed by Activision and bungie They will be releasing 2 expansions per annum over a 10 year period. They feel there is no need for a sequel as the development costs for a brand new game exceeds that of expanding the current content. Therefore do NOT expect another destiny release until the next gen of consoles in 10-15 years time. As it won't happen. I don't mind paying £35 per year for 2 expansions considering call of duty rips you off for the game and then the dlc as well. Every year.

Each part of the game focused on an Enemy if you think about it the Main Story was more About the Vex than any other enemy even though it introduced you to the other factions and in the end it focused on you killing what the Vex considered a God. The Dark Below was the same but this time it focused on the Hive and you killing Crota who they believed was a God and Last but not least House of Wolves focused on the Fallen and it ended with well I guess you continuously every week killing a different version of Skolas who considers himself a prophet. Who knows the next pack might be the Cabal and their King/God?

1 RispondiSeeing how long it takes Bungie to release new content/expansions then my guess is: June 2015 House of Wolves December 2015 Comet May 2016 Expansion 4 December 2016 Expansion 5 ( assuming Destiny 2 dosent come out and replace expansion 4 and 5 of course ) but from the looks of it seems like Bungie does an expansion every 6 months ( which is too much a gap )

2 RisposteExpansions 3 and 4 will be for destiny 1. Expansion 3 will be the comet dlc. A massive expansion with 2 raids and several new story missions. And new subclasses for everyone. Warlocks will get an arch subclass. Hunters will get a void subclass. And titans will get a solar subclass. Destiny 2 releases fall 2016 or 2017. That's my prediction.
