You're proceeding through the map, trying to maintain a balance between speed and caution. And then you see it, that red flash on your radar. If you were running, you stop and proceed more cautiously. You equip whichever weapon you think will most appropriate for your environment. You know that your enemy is probably around the next bend. You place yourself in the best position you can, ready for the intense firefight that will engage when the enemy comes around the corner. Win or lose, life or death, victory or defeat, this is going to be good. BLAM! The enemy reduces you to space dust in a fraction of a second with one burst from their Fusion Rifle. No firefight, no battle of wits and skill between foes, just a swift and unceremonious end. What was supposed to be a fun and engaging battle between two players is ended before it has a chance to even be fun for either party.
Does anyone get where I'm coming from?

2 RisposteGotta get that Thorn bounty done somehow.

2 RisposteModificato da DEZARATH: 11/19/2014 11:48:27 AMI'd rather you dies cheaply a million times. I'd rather you quit the game, i'd rather a thousand ten year olds dance on your disintegrated ashes than nerf the fusion rifles. One of the only damn weapons that can halt a Promethean from over running your pad in the raid. Save you from a horde of Kamikaze Harpies. Can wipe the shield off a Event Target. I don't care if they remove them from PVP. Even though it's in your topic's title, let's all be clear on them being left alone in PVE. Just take your competitive deaths better Guardians.
-
It's the one-hit-kill range of fusion rifles that, in my opinion, make them ridiculous in PvP.
-
1 RispondiI'm sick of pvpers crying nerf
-
Lmfao fusion takes way longer than reg weapons to charge n u have 1 shot at it. Sorry to say this but u prob just suck.
-
No. I use fusion because you get the mix of needing to be good at aim and positioning (so charging as you go round a corner perhaps and quickly aiming after establishing from the radar your enemy is close) All guns require a different play style, apart from scout and pulse which are generally just seeker assault rifles (because ar are overpowered)
-
Nope, love the fushion rifles!!
-
They have to be good to use afusion rifel I don't use on Allways seems the charge time allows people to escape and I miss them can't get my head round the lag time in pvp of fusion
-
Blink. Problem solved
-
ready to never step into pvp after iron banner is over....all the pvp ppl do is cry about weapons. wish the vendors didnt use crucible marks
-
I'm sick of only being able to kill 1-2 people with the pocket infinity, I wanna gun down 6 GUARDIANS A SECOND!!!
-
1 RispondiNope. They're perfect the way they are, just like every other gun. Nothing is op anymore, everything's as balanced as it can be. Leave the game alone now with the nerfs, if anything buff a couple of these exotics
-
I know wat u saying
-
yes and shotguns
-
3 RisposteHere we can witness a nerf queen in its natural habitat on the forums crying we think this is how they attract a mate but little is known about there behaviour they rarely venture far from there mothers basement and when they do it's only very late at night for food.
-
4 RisposteSome of them have a dirty range. People say "ow but the charge" The charge isn't that long. They remind me of a filthy version of the arc cannon in Titan fall. The range needs a very slight reduction. Meaning past mid range it's not a one hit wipe out. Snipers require head shots and supers are supers. Fusion rifles are fine except for a select few with the range of death.
-
They are for sale right now. Go get them!
-
1 RispondiI think the point of special weapons is to be ablt to one shot in certain opportunities. Sniper is at long range head shot. Shotgun is at face to face. Fusion rifle is being lucky/good enough to get all your shots on target. Not too easy when they are hitting you cause of charge time. I recon that special ammo should be a bit rarer. Otherwise I dont mind
-
There's only 3 special weapon types currently. There are 2 PvP maps where using a sniper rifle is feasible. Wait until they add more weapon types, you'll see some variance at that time, I'm sure. Everyone needs to stop asking for nerfs. Its getting out of hand. Its nearly impossible to use shotguns in PvE because of the endless nerfs demanded by the PvP crowd.
-
2 RisposteWhat happen to bungie saying we don't want people to have a to go to weapon, and they nerfed the auto rifle twice...
-
1 RispondiYep, nerf the fusion one shot rifles. At least you need to get close with a shotgun!
-
1 RispondiWhen that happens I always resort to Plan C.
-
Only noobs play with Fusions, it's frustrating to die from it now and then, but most of the times they get trashed and end up under 1 k/d, so I dont really care, let them have their fun as it is, no need to nerf anything. BUT rockets need to be banned, or at least Truth and Gjallarporn.
-
Same with Rockets, Shotguns, Grenades, Hand Cannons, and Supers. So AR, Sniper, & HMG is the only legit loadout?
-
Fusion rifles really aren't that bad. Shotguns on the other hand...
-
I use fusions from time to time and I agree they need to reduce the effective range, as they should also do for shotguns.
