I'm no professional developer or anything, but i'm aware of how little trouble it would be for you to put a SKIP option on the cinematics. I'm actually extremely surprised this isnt talked about more and already dealt with. Please!!! Do something about that.

Due to the complexity of adding features after release, in addition to memory constraints. Bungie is planing to add a skip button by the release of Destiny 4... True Story.
-
-
I know! It sucks, shouldn't be too hard to add a skip button
-
1 RispondiBump There's not much of a story to skip anyway
-
Seriously... Either give us a story worth watching, or give us a goddamn skip button already!

Modificato da Unforgiven: 4/3/2015 6:31:36 AMthere is an article about the difficulty of procedurary generation of skip button. Looks like the cutscene is connected to all the modules. In order to re-write the code, we will need to reprogram the api using c-sharp and java all at once. Its impossible. It is like putting a hydra in the neural net, and jumping over a cliff. It cannot be done with the current technology. One programmer that attempted to skip the skip button actually wrote himself out life the program. it was horrible. I cri every time - Bungie Dev Team or BDev for short, you can also call us BUNGDEVS.. WE are also know as the bungie development procedural generation squad team plan C! yOU CAN ALSO CALL US nITWITS. Indeed, it's mindblowing. A scientist from MIT was once quoted "The computer analyzed 18 million seconds of random YouTube video, building a database of potential brain activity for each clip. From all these videos, the software picked the one hundred clips that caused a brain activity more similar to the ones the subject watched, combining them into one final movie. Although the resulting video is low resolution and blurry, it clearly matched the actual clips watched by the subjects." Wait professor. We are speaking about the Skip button. Professor responded. "Ah yes the skip button. It cannot be -blam!-ing done." Go play COD AW, scrub"! Gasp

1 RispondiJust get rid of cut scenes no time to explain why I don't have time to explain. Hahahahhahaha
-
People have been askin g for it since day one but since bungievison has never addressed it in anything that they have posted most people figures they don't care about a skip button. Or any guardians for that matter....

Modificato da Ebil Donut: 4/2/2015 2:31:08 PMIts been talked about a few times. I made a post awhile ago about it but i guess people just dont care cuz none of the posts about it ever go that far. Except this one. Over 400 replies? Nice. Most ive seen about this topic was around 20 replies

100% agree. Force people to watch 1x then add option to skip

Modificato da Wolf Fang iGO: 4/2/2015 3:29:31 AMI dont really care about an option to skip, especially since most scenes are skippable. Once it pops up with the count down to mission end just go to orbit. You still get your loot and any end scene will be skipped.

For the love of the gods, old and new, YES

Bumpity-bump!

2 RisposteIt would kill the story line even more if you didn't watch them, but that would be nice
-
Yes please.

Bump to the max

This is another comment. Number count can be seen as something that's really impressive... ...especially if it is in the feedback forum. Keep typing and getting BUNGIE's *cough* DEEJ's *cough* attention. Bungie, please, add the skip button!
-
I hope Bungie pays attention to these forums. I understand that they might completely ignore posts that attack them via language, but I'm just gonna place comment in order for this thread to hopefully get BUNGIE's attention.
