Un-Official Community Wish List

This an unofficial wishlist that was made way back in October so things on this list may have already been addressed, enjoy. I will clarify now, this is not a set of priority things that the community wants, this is a list in no specific order of what the community would like to see. Some of these ideas would not be able to make it into the game as of now and are more things for the Dev team to look at Destiny 2 to implement. [b][u]Interface:[/u][/b] [b]Radar:[/b] -Larger, less transparent, more responsive. [b]World Map:[/b] -Displayed when ghost is out -GPS towers to reveal map, can be attacked by enemies (events to defend/reclaim) -PvP: location of allies and objectives [b]Friend Locator[/b] -Displays list of friends on the right of the screen when the planet is selected (could also be a hover over function) [b]HUD[/b] -Customisable HUD (move HUD elements) -option for permanent health display -different HUD designs (current one seems too bland/basic) [b][u]Gameplay:[/u] [/b] [b]Armour Vendor:[/b] -Sells armor [b]Planetary Outposts:[/b] - https://www.bungie.net/en/Forum/Post/128964822/0/0 [b]Clan Support:[/b] -Custom clan logos -Displayable on class items as a type of “shader”. Crafting grants player exp. No exotics [b]Interplanetary Travel:[/b] -Travel from planet to planet without needing to go to orbit first (still has the space travel animation for loading) [b]Random Weather Generator:[/b] -snow on Earth, meteor shower on Moon, acid rain on Venus, sand storm on Mars, etc [b]Helmet Toggle:[/b] -Toggle helmet on/off (I made a character and I want others to see it when I kill them) [b]Wildlife[/b] -spawns and lives in caves -some hostile [b]Late Game Character Customization[/b] -change character looks after the game has begun -More Character customization [b]Character Cap[/b] -Raise cap (people who already have 3 characters can't let others make a new character to play themselves without wiping one of their own) [b]Purchase of Strange Coins/Motes of Light[/b] -Coins = 35 Vanguard Marks (4 per week) -Motes = 25 Vanguard Marks (6 per week) [b]Legendary Planet Unique Armor/Weapon[/b] (can be found after lvl 18) -Unique armor/weapons = design/function based off planets enemy inhabitants -Acquired via Secret/Hidden missions, very rare drop from planet Strikes (not Exotic rare, around rarity of Legendary)

        • It will be cool that also strength gives more melee damage discipline more granade damage and intellect more super power at least for PvP it will make every guardian more unique and personal for every player but I don't know if bungie even read this i mean just whit the stuff I said it will be a completely different and more fun game whit maybe some random place to kill enemies like crazy wave after wave just for fun but I well we maybe are asking bungie too much

          Awesome list of things we would love to have in Destiny. Now, I'm curious to see if Bungie even cares to put some of these things in the game, or if they will continue with their stubborn stance on things. You know... play this game the way THEY want us to play, rather than the way we want... like, uh, control our own Destiny! :-p

          Don't have time to give feedback on all changes, but this one is quick: Enemy Damage Scaling -low level enemies do reduced damage to higher level guardians (as it should be really) They scale damage so any area of the game can be played and still offer challenge. Also, it allows someone with a decked out guardian to run through the game again with a friend who may be just starting out...and you aren't simply rushing them through content and roflstomping everything in site for them... I personally enjoy it and would not change it. But also, as a positive, I like a lot of the compiled changes and think many of them could be incorporated.

        • Would love the ability to add light to an armor piece so we would have more variety at 30. Could be implemented by adding an armorcrafter npc who could give your armor +1 light for 10 notes of light. Also could be an option to just change the look of your armor so you can keep nice perks. Have changing the look cost 20 or 30 motes? Probably cap light on any armor piece at 30 and only make legendaries customizable. Figure one or both would be nice. Also love the constructive nature of this post. Much love for not just raging

        • Iam back with a sleep deprived notion: For another opinion make it so were arent limited in PvE by only picking one exotic for weapons and armor. No guardian in real life would say "i already have one BA weapon so i wont need another to go kill this fearsome monster" it just wouldnt happen. As for PvP, just have a system that has you pick what you will take into battle. The only people that would harm are the lazy people who wouldnt want to take the time to do so. Sorry if it sounds off...had the idea needed to get it out before sleeping.

          • I completely agree with your ideas that you've posted , a lot of my friends who are basically end gamers would always talk about things like this but never posted it on the furoms lets see if these ideas are taking into consideration , space battles with our ships would be amAzings like a control aspect to it like u fly to the other teams battle ship and blow it up to win the match but make it like idk an 8 on 8 or a bit more

                  Shotguns have been nerfed. No trading! Radar is just fine. Custom hud definitely. Helmets... If we want no helmets let us suffer without the defense and perk helmets provide. Helmets are needed in foreign planets. I love the grind so purchasing coins should cost a ton and be limited to two coins purchased a week. Sometimes I miss an item by one coin! Avid rain would be great, if it caused a universal debuff. No material conversion it almost doesn't any sense at all. Turn spinmetal into a spirit bloom? No way. I highly recommend grimoire to be placed in the game as a library and create instances where grimoire must be read to complete a task. It is definitely too much to ask but a funny thought: companion app minigame to farm materials. This will get more people active in the app which will make people more exposed to the grimoire and many features of the companion app. The factions absolutely need stories and their own individual missions. I know plenty of people that are clueless as to what the factions are all about. Bungie has been clear on continued support and they are rolling out updates/hot fixes consistently. I suspect that newer, bigger, and badder weapons are on the way. I highly suggest that the gunsmith be more useful... I rarely visit him. I would gladly pay ten strange coins to swap a gun perk /ability for another this may lead to some broken weapons and would suggest to solve that problem by making some abilities/perks unswappable and tiered, limited by gun type and rarity and level. A top of of hot debate is regarding on disc "dlc" I don't believe any company is in the practice of shooting themselves in the foot. I think those areas are not the dlc and just areas that are going to be expanded upon as the game grows.

                    • I like the idea of SMG's, I'd like to see them as Special Weapons, they can use that to differentiate them further from AR's. It also gives an automatic weapon to this slot. In addition to the SMG: Fusion long-arms: sniper rifles that fill the heavy weapon spot, they need to charge like fusion rifles, just longer. They would be instant kills. Same sort of clip and max ammo as rocket launchers. Their range: if you can see it, you can kill it. Silent weapons and hybrid weapons of future and ancient tech. Adding silenced weapons, as well as something like a 'wookiee bowcaster', a Special weapon that's not an instant head-shot kill but adds another ranged option for specials, something that's a hybrid of the Hand Cannon damage, Scout Rifle range, and Sniper R-O-F. Weapons that emulate our enemy's weapons. Using Halo's plasma rifle, adapt the charged style to existing Primarily.
