Destiny alpha was atrocious
So I played the destiny alpha hoping that the game would be live up to the expectations. Then I played it. It was atrocious. The graphics and lighting were awful. Weapons were generic and the economy system was terrible. Gameplay boring and it's been done a million times. No proximity chat ruined the MMO feel. And the story is non-existent. Overall it was a terrible experience. What do you think?

I think the hype was too much for the actual product. Of course it's the alpha and I know the beta will be so much better, but it felt too generic and Borderlands-like. Not to say I hate it, dislike it or anything, but the alpha didn't give me that Bungie magic that Halo did. I really expect the beta to be 1000 times better, so cya'll there!

This happens way too often. Everyone, myself included jumps on the hype train. They build up a huge expectation and the end product isn't what they imagined. That said. I loved the alpha. And keep in mind it's only an alpha. It will be better.

I seem to recall you being dubbed as a troll previously. You said a lot of things in tho a post that can only be argued with by straight-up disagreeing. If you're serious then that's fine and all, but there isn't much to back up what you said and you don't have the best history.

How can these formidable guardians journey forward without proper calcium intake to maintain the integrity of there bones for the struggles that lie ahead? I hope my concern does not fall on def ears, for the hardships before us require tenacity beyond the capabilities of mere mortals alone. First thing Bungie said that Destiny is not an mmo, it is an alpha so it isnt the final game, bungie said that it was less than 8% of the game, AND you should wait for the beta at least before you make a final move
